I previously used my Ram 3500 with the Cummins diesel and the CB pulls it out of the water better. I always would use 4 low on the Ram just to have more control. The CB feels a little different when backing down the ramp because it won’t just roll and I have to press the accelerator to make it move then it goes a little faster than I like. I am going to try it with creep and see if that feels better.

Tesla stopped including creep mode in 2024 and Cybertruck has only had hold.
If you exit trailer mode and engage off road, you can roll, but it also impacts traction control.

Other option is to use both feet/ pedals. I've had sone luck doing that to feather power when connecting to my trailer .

I have to use wade mode to launch or pull my boat out. It goes into the water pretty far but the wade mode make the truck ride too high and my boat drags on the ramp. If I do not use the wade mode the truck shuts off until it can dry out.

Shutting off isn't good, even if it recovers
Possible options:
Engage wade mode beforehand to pressurize pack, then disable just before launch
Adjustable ball carrier with lower height

Very informative thread. Thank you all. The Rivian R1T displays the weight on the hitch. I have not seen this on the CB, but it knows the weight. I got a warning when there was too much weight on the hitch while I was hauling some stone. I don't have my trailer set up now to verify, but when I unplugged the harness (and, I believe, turned off trailer mode) I still could not use FSD, so summon might be disabled even after unplugging the harness. I'm interested to hear if anyone has tried this. Tangentially related, with my #1200 camper on (tailgate down and manually locked) and the harness plugged in for camper lights, FSD works the same as naked (incessant Self-Driving Degraded alerts requiring frequent DAS resets - FSD computer replaced under warranty but did not fix).

The truck can detect a trailer due to power vs acceleration. It also sometimes locks out FSD if the rear camera is blocked.
As to the weight warning, that's not the hitch weight itself, but the rear axle (which includes 1.34*hitch if not using a WD setup).
