ExactlyAll vehicle braking systems have to meet a minimum standard for safety reasons and there are many different braking systems that manufactures have to choose from so Tesla has to choose wisely between stopping power, reliability, weight, and price. Tesla is not going to spend 10k for a high performance braking system for any of their vehicles but, they might offer that 10k high performance braking system that is designed specifically for the Cybertruck and sell it for 20k to cybertruck owners that could use that extra performance whether it be for the race track, towing a heavy load or just for that little bit of extra safety assurance.
