Just got back from my first long distance trip, all awesome, not one single problem. Put a pet liner in the back seat and took our golden retriever with us. That is def worth the money! Met a lot of great people at the Tesla chargers and was happy the truck took less time to charge than it took us to walk the dog and grab a bite to eat each time. Got a software update while camping, everything went smooth there. And no I didn’t pull that 33’ TT, we rented it on Outdoorsy. Normally we do pull one from missouri up there but wanted to try out just renting one. It cost me right at 2k in fuel to pull mine up and back and was only $800 to rent one for the week. Much less stressful. Only had 2 diesel bro’s roll coal on me in the UP, but the cybertruck is so fast on take off it looked like a fighter jet had cut through a cloud lol.

Info on weight of the RV trailer and energy usage will be appreciated.

And did you use the Cybertruck trip planner? Was it accurate and helpful (did it adjust to your energy usage with the trailer)?

Thanks in advance!

Not sure, but we only saw one other cybertruck all week and that was in Green Bay Wisconsin. People in St Ignace Michigan(north end of the bridge) said it was the first one they had ever seen! Just FYI for anyone going, there is only a little level 2 charger in St Ignace at one of the ferry parking lots that take you over to Mackinac Island, so be sure to charge before you cross the bridge. We drove all the way across Upper Michigan on US2 and there are no chargers from the Mackinac bridge to Escanaba Mi which is on the west end of the UP.

I live in Milwaukee but I’m originally from the UP. I do the trip from Milwaukee to basically Escanaba 6 or more times a year. I’m hoping I can do that trip in one charge, but I suspect it will be close. Especially since Milwaukee to Green Bay default speed is 80+ MPH. I’m guessing summer time might be close, but winter is very unlikely.
Thank you for sharing.

Love the Golden! We have two. Which cover did you get and did it fit well?

Chumajor XL Dog Car Seat Cover... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CWQPLNDD?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
That’s the cover I got, it worked very well containing the golden snow. That at the track suit my wife put the dog in lol. I put a couple of outdoor chair cushions on the floor for padding and the pet liner over that. It’s got a screen type material for between the front seats so she could see us and get plenty of AC, but discourage climbing into the front.

Northern MI is beautiful country, good to know you didn't have any charging problems since chargers are sparse up there. Hope I get to visit UP sometime this year.
