Tesla scheduled a service for me (without me requesting one) to inspect & torque the rear subframe to the body. I have not seen or read any other posts about this service. I am going in tomorrow June 5th to drop it off.

My service advisor called me this morning and said he doesn't have much detail. He said it was listed as a while you wait service (7 hours) and called me to say, "We will give you a loaner." So either they saw something on my last service where they replaced my to tonneau cover 3 weeks ago or this is a service bulletin for the Cybertruck in general.

With that being said, it seems to be kind of an important thing to have torqued properly.

Don't modern factories have electronic torque wrenches and such that automatically record the value to a database for every vehicle and every part?
Yes. DC drivers with data collection are pretty standard. They're dumped into databases like Pinpoint and are tracked against a specific VIN or SN.

Tesla likely saw a failure on the line, post test, or in the field. Traced that specific torque value and is checking each vehicle that had the deviation.

I wonder if this explains some of the "creaking noise while turning" reports I've read on here?

I have this problem of creaking in my 12000 vin cyberbeast that was delivered yesterday >.>

I wasn't sure if it was normal or not.
the creaking comes from the center console. On mine they disassembled the trim on the console, added foam and felt tape, and reassembled. It hasn't come back in the week since I picked it up.

So my truck Delivery on 2/14 has been having a weird issue upon acceleration. Have a service appointment on 6/14 and a technician as already driven it and confirmed the noise. But when I accelerate I hear a thump on the lower part of the car in the real. Almost like the subframe this could be it!

I have this issue to a small degree. I was able to insert some foam under the back of the console to reduce it by 80%. I'd still like to tighten it up some more. Any suggestions?
