Interesting. I received an Email stating that I would receive 6 months free supercharging as I did not qualify for thr powers hare install. Need to try and locate that. It has not gone into effect as of yet.

Looking at this quote from the about power share page I have a question:

"Currently, the only way to get Powershare equipment is to purchase a Foundation Series Cybertruck. In addition to cabin and cargo bed power outlets, all Foundation Series Cybertruck owners will receive a Powershare Mobile Connector and may be eligible to receive Powershare Home Backup hardware (Universal Wall Connector and Powershare Gateway).2"

Does anyone know what a power share mobile connector is? Is it any different from the normal mobile connector they actually gave us with delivery?

it seems like it’s a $2,500 Tesla Shop voucher. So if you don’t use it on the PowerShare install, you can use it in a single order towards other items.

The key here is “other items”. The shop is sold out of all the worthwhile shit. This might be a tough voucher to use in one transaction unless you buy that tent. Personally, I don’t need a tent so I guess there’s limited options if they don’t have anything in stock. Does anyone have ideas what to do with $2500 shop credit?

I think we're screwed. ?‍ I wrote Tesla arbitration unit about the $700 being too low and haven't heard anything. The paperwork said they had 60 days to respond, it now has been about 70 days.

The weird thing is the Gateway is not available to purchase in the online shop. So if you don't already have a PW, I'm not sure how Powershare is going to work without the gateway. Before, you would contact a certified installer and they would get the GW direct from Tesla. Now it seems like Tesla will sell and ship the GW directly to customers.

I already have a Tesla PW + PV system so I'm good for the GW, but I need the UWC, which is available in the shop. I guess I'll use the remainder of the $2500 towards other CT accessories.

Installer would use your gift card/ code to purchase the Gateway and UWC.

Powershare works with Powerwall, standard Gateway, and standard Wall Connector.
OR
No Powerwall, V3 PS Gateway (auto transformer and site manager), and PS UWC (wake signals for Gateway).

Any point in buying the universal charger vs the wall charger? I don’t want PS, just a faster charger. Even the universal charger says it must be installed by a certified installer, but I’d just use it for a charger right now. In case we get a Rivian.

It's Universal Wall Connector, same thing (though a non-Powerwall Powershare setup needs the new version of UWC).
You can buy UWC from the store, but if you already have an older WC and don't care about PS, you're fine.

Interesting. I just had Tesla solar/powerwalls installed and the crew said my regular wall connector charger would be sufficient for the PowerShare capabilities in a future software update. Just need to know whether or not I’ll need to purchase the universal wall connector.

Normal Tesla Wall Connector is fine with a Powerwall system (though the Cybertruck is waiting on software to support it versus stand alone PS)

It's the mobile connector you recieved with the Cybertruck. The difference from previous versions is that it supports AC output once Tesla releases new adapters for it that have sockets instead of plugs. Model # on box sticker should have V2L (Vehicle to Load).

I bought a Cyberbeast and the deal when I purchased was INCLUDED Powershare Hardware AND a $4000 credit for install.

If they changed this then it's a bait and switch scenario and they could be sued. Has anyone seen an indication they are trying to get out of the $4K credit initial promise?
