Interesting. I just had Tesla solar/powerwalls installed and the crew said my regular wall connector charger would be sufficient for the PowerShare capabilities in a future software update. Just need to know whether or not I’ll need to purchase the universal wall connector.
Good question.

I have One panel that is backed up by a generator and will connect the CT to the other panel which will back up that panel in an outage.
Nice!

This doesn't add up. The total of above figures is around $2525. Is this the full document, or some got cut off?

PowerShare Mobile Connector is the unit included with the FS series charging equipment. This allows for charging other EVs (Mobile PowerSharing) from the vault outlets. The connector included with the FS also functions the same as the Mobile Connector in the Tesla Shop to charge while you're at a location without a Universal/Standard Wall Connector, or without a charge station nearby. It is a different unit than the Gen 2 Mobile Connector in the Tesla Shop:
Unit recieved with my CT FS:

Gen 2 Mobile Connector (Tesla Shop):
Gen 2 Mobile Connector.jpg

I declined the PowerShare Home Backup, and have not confirmed the PowerShare Mobile Connector actually charges other EVs from the vault outlets, but that is what I understand to be the case surrounding the CT PowerShare capabilities at this time.

Additionally, for all of us that are finally joining the Tesla club with the CT purchase, the generic NEMA 14-30 male to 14-50 female "dogbone" cord adapters DO NOT WORK with the PowerShare Mobile Connector you receive with the CT and the 14-50 adapter pigtail attached. This is the dogbone in reference:
Dogbone.jpg

User claims/reviews on products stating they work with the Gen 2 unit are probably true, but I personally confirmed last night they do not. I have yet to try a Gen 2 adapter piece, but will probably be buying the adapter kit with my Home Backup voucher and will confirm at a later date.
Update on this - I stumbled across the PowerShare Mobile Connector manual via Google, which seems to be the only place it lives since you cant buy the PSMC in the Tesla Shop yet...either way, the Adapters section states the connector detects the attached adapter and sets the appropriate current draw:
Tesla Cybertruck All Foundation Series owners will receive $2,500 voucher for Tesla Shop (to purchase Powershare Home Backup Equipment or other products) 1717779226918-w

The Gen 2 manual also says the same thing, so I am still puzzled as to why the dogbone I purchased and explained in my previous post works with Gen 2 MC but doesnt with the PSMC.

The only difference between specs in the two manuals is an added spec line for GFCI CCID20 protection:
Tesla Cybertruck All Foundation Series owners will receive $2,500 voucher for Tesla Shop (to purchase Powershare Home Backup Equipment or other products) 1717780338939-7x

Tesla Cybertruck All Foundation Series owners will receive $2,500 voucher for Tesla Shop (to purchase Powershare Home Backup Equipment or other products) 1717780364476-v3

I may have taken in some 240V during all of this, because my brain is fried after my attempts to bridge the voucher/UWC gap

Yea I already took delivery of my beast. I’m not interested in negotiating. I want the deal I was promised. The equipment and a $4,000 installation credit. I have already been approved for PowerShare months ago.
interestingly enough, they have not sent me any email about any changes.
I feel the exact same way. Don’t accept any of the offers that they are throwing out, if you do, you give up any rights to what was originally guaranteed, and offered with your purchase. I will hold off until I’m given what I was informed I would be provided.

Please check your mobile connector with the NEMA 14-50 adapter connected supplies 32 amps. I tested it by charging my other Tesla and it only provided 6A at 240V. I debugged the issue with a friends NEMA 14-50 adapter and his worked. Just submit a service ticket to get it fixed prior to depending on it in the field in an emergency.

Also mentioned earlier in this thread there will probably be an adapter to plug into the mobile connector that provides 120V or 240V plugs rated up to 11kW.

I took delivery on April 27th. Before that the installer and Tesla confirmed I was eligible for the PowerShare equipment and the installer said that I was approved in 'the system'. Me, nor the installer have received the equipment and I have not received an e-mail about the $2500 voucher either. ((Tried to) Called support: they hang up. E-mail support: told me to call, chat or visit delivery center. Delivery center told me to call and the chat line said that they don't know anything about it and I should talk to the delivery center. Extremely frustrating.

So in what form or fashion does this "$2500 Voucher" come? An email?

Yes, any tesla wall charger is on their requirement list. The universal one just makes the connectors easy to swap. The standard one is also fine.

The $2500 can be used to purchase any item from the store? I have PW and two home wall chargers already, looking to purchase a cyberquad. Need an invite also for either reservation I have! Tesla can you hear me? (in the tune of Tommy)

I assume if I am just waiting for a city permit requested by the installers I will not receive any type of email for a voucher. My quote to install the PowerShare which I signed and accepted already was for $4,300. I am due only for $300 according to the installers since they are using the $4,000 allowance provided by Tesla.

This is my situation. However, when I talked to them they said: "you don't qualify if you have a generator".

I didn't push back because I don't really need powershare.

Just curious, is it a hardwired generator with automatic transfer switch, or manual connection/ switchover?
