You don't. Sell it.Because I’m a safe driver? The speed limit on public roads is 25mph and the highway is 50 mph.
why does anyone need a truck as fast as the awd cybertruck? Much more for the cyberbeast.

Easy fella it's called humor:>) I'm assuming you're a fella? Sorry I did it again.Overcompensating for what exactly? Because Beast owners opted for the faster truck?
The published acceleration is 4.1 seconds 0-60 mph, and I have found that to be more than enough for me.So I received my truck about a week ago and have been driving it in "chill" mode this entire time. Tonight a passenger wanted to see how fast it was so I decided to put it in sport to test. I didn't expect much because I know mine was the slower truck, but this thing was brutal, it literally threw us back in our seats and my passenger lost grip of her phone and it landed on the back seat.
I've driven 4 second 0-60 cars before and this felt way faster than any of them. Is Tesla under reporting the dual motor 0-60 to sell more beasts? It feels so unsafe to have that much speed on public roads, I can't imagine the beast being much faster than that. As it is I'm probably never putting my truck in sport mode again.
I had to drive my old (2022) Model Y the other night and it was an awful experience. I loved that car, but now I am spoiled forever. How can I feel good about letting anyone drive my CT knowing that they might become jaded to their otherwise great cars?Drove CT Thursday-Sunday, jumped in the ICE Ford Edge (work/commuter car) and felt like Fred Flinstone
And the same thing happens in the AWD.In the Beast, without even using "Launch Mode" just Beast mode, passengers get very big eyes and before they can say HOLY SHIT the truck is over 60 MPH. Its probably not like any sports car available for under $250,000. My passengers were screaming with delight and still giggling after getting out. And they were all over 50 years old so not youngsters and loved the intense acceleration. Very few people get to experience this level of acceleration.
Not where I liveBecause I’m a safe driver? The speed limit on public roads is 25mph and the highway is 50 mph.
I think he meant in consideration to range which AWD has an advantage. Just didn’t finish the thought. ??Overcompensating for what exactly? Because Beast owners opted for the faster truck?
It’s pretty wild to think people who can afford a 100k vehicle wouldn’t be able to foot 20k more if they truly wanted the beast.Quit trying to hype up your AWD and compare it to the Beast. Let’s keep it real. Everybody that ordered the AWD over the Beast saying “They didn’t need all that extra power” is bullshit. Man up and just say you didn’t have the extra $20k to spend and we’ll respect you guys more.
How often did you use the Model 3 Performance numbers as compared to those of the Model 3 AWD? Maybe a few dozen times?Unfortunately, tire wear will be an issue with my Beast. Everyone that wants a ride, also wants to feel the launch.
The 0 to 60 in 2.6 seconds is faster than my Model 3 Performance! I don't regret the purchase.
If you can afford it, buy it. "Coffins don't have pockets."
PS..The Model 3 was passed on, and yes, the hugs are well worth it.
So another words, you settled for the AWD so that you could kind of be cool and have one of the first cyber trucks in your town? At least when I get my Beast I won’t have to explain that to people. It’s pretty wild to think people who can afford a 100k vehicle wouldn’t be able to foot 20k more if they truly wanted the beast.
I paid for my vehicle cash with nyc tax it came up to 113k. I could have easily registered it in Montana if I wanted and been at damn near the same price for a beast.
I didn’t buy a beast mainly because I don’t care for the extra speed and wanted my truck right away. I didn’t want to wait until the end of 2024 for a beast. By the time most of you get your beasts the appeal and excitement of the cybertruck will be gone. It will just be a regular car on the road that’s slower than other electric trucks like the Rivian.
I got the awd because it’s awesome and I get it 6 months earlier than waiting for a beast which has no benefit to me. I think the dual motor is already too fast as it is so I never take it out of chill mode. What would I do with a beast? The only reason I even cared for a beast to begin with was because it was a better financial decision. The beast will end up cheaper in the long run because it’ll hold it’s value better than an AWD.[

I'm sorry, but $20,000 is a significant downside. The Beast IS the same vehicle except for a motor, some trim and badging.Childish? Didn’t you just say you acknowledge you settled for the AWD so you would have it now before the market becomes saturated? Which is ironic coming from someone who purchased the most common produced cybertruck there is. The only downside of purchasing a Beast is that it’s extremely similar to the cheaper AWD drive. That’s where you guys lucked out
