According to experts, range will be less than half of what's estimated pulling any trailer. Has to do with extreme turbulance between the tailgate and front of trailer. This is the reason for the aerodynamic shroud on the cab of all 18 wheelers manufactured today. Aloso the boxy shape of the traditional truck causes a fast reduction in range as speed is increased. This is more promenant (sp) for EVs over ICE because the EV is more efficient, so losses are more for each percent loss. At least that's what the experts say. That's why trailering affects EVs worse than ICE.From AI.....but matches reviews..."The 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV has an EPA-estimated range of 450 miles on a full charge for the Work Truck (WT) trim. The RST trim has a GM-estimated range of 440 miles. However, towing at the maximum capacity of 10,000 pounds may slightly decrease the range. For example, towing a camper could reduce the effective range to around 225 miles.". Battery is 2 x larger, towing range is 2 x longer.
