Personally I would be really hesitant to get a battery powered inflator because it would be stored for potentially years at a time in the hot box known as the vault. High heat isn't good for batteries and I don't want to find out 18 months later in the middle of nowhere that it won't run anymore or worse catches fire. If I could find one that had the form factor of a battery inflator but just used 120v I'd love it.
I get where you’re coming from. At the end of the day, I think it’s about evaluating risks and what you’re comfortable with.

For myself, I know it’ll be for emergency purposes only as a last resort since there are both Tesla roadside assistance and additional roadside assistance from my insurance. But if you’d don’t like the idea of using a battery, then perhaps a 120v will work better given then truck has enough juice left. Or if you’d prefer ? uptime with no risk, a manual bike pump may be a better option.

This is what I keep in the storage locker. It serves as an air pump for emergencies and can function as a power bank or flashlight.

I recently created a thread on the accessories I use if you’re interested. https://www.cybertruckownersclub.com/forum/threads/accessories-list-for-the-cybertruck.20505/
I've got one that seems to be similar. I'm not sure if it is even worth having with the Cybertruck.
Have you tested how long that it takes to fill one of the Cybertruck's tires.
I know mine takes forever with a riding lawnmower tire.
As to how long is forever? 5, maybe 10 minutes, vs the 5 seconds with my AC 3g tank unit.

I agree, it takes awhile to reinflate given the small form factor. A unit with a pressurized tank will always be better if inflation speed is a priority.

I have a 3g Craftman air pressure tank for filling up at the house.

Don't forget to purchase one of the myriad of tire plug kits on Amazon. You'll need that too.

I got this one, charges on USB-C.

Used it once on a Ram truck tire, it did fine. The little air tube heats up a tad, that is all but it is small enough to take anywhere.

I needed an air compressor to reinflate my truck's tires after 'airing down' when traveling on rough off-road trails. To get reasonable speed, I looked for a two cylinder compressor and found this one which works well. I fits nicely in the sub vault. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07YTKQLVK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1

It's useful for operating air tools, as well.
I really like this one. Is it cheaply made or is it fairly
High quality? I have never heard of that company.

has anyone purchased a Fix a Flat can for emergencies? If so, thoughts on storing a pressurized can in the truck bed floor area and whether it might exceed the 120 degree limit if/when the CT is parked outside in the summer?

I use the Dewalt 20V portable inflator.
I keep it under the rear seat. So with cabin heat protection, it won’t be too bad for the battery during hot days.

I did use it outside a few times (with my previous vehicles), when on road trips, because ambient temperature changes noticeably as I am traveling north (into Canada) or south (to California).

I prefer the ability to inflate at anywhere (most often, at campground before departure) instead of having to drive to a gas station and pay $1.
The portable one definitely takes time to inflate, especially at 50-80psi. But the portability is very convenient. No need to drag the line around. Especially when I also have a 2-axis trailer.
Also, you can set target pressure and it auto stops.

The battery is interchangeable with other Dewalt tools.

A/C 120v chargers come with battery powered units.

I ended up getting this one. I can use the same battery I use for the rest of my DeWALT equipment.

Nice seems useful.

I think I may be leaning towards the 20V Dewalt portable one...
I have the dewalt one. Works pretty good! Little small for 35" tires but have used it on my GMC 3500. If you can get a small plug in one it will be better, but it will also take up much more room.
