Just wanted to share my experience over the past couple of months.

I noticed that primarily between 40-50mph and giving minimal power (essentially on the cusp of regen) there is vibration coming from the front motor. I notified Tesla of this and took them on a drive, they took recordings of the sound and engaged the Tesla Engineering team to troubleshoot. At this point they plan on replacing the front drive unit. I do not know if this is the new front drive unit that they were testing or if this will be the same unit I currently have.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Has anyone else had their front drive unit replaced on a Beast?

Picked up my truck today and confirmed they are replacing the front motor with the new design. I am having it replaced on August 26 since I am going on a roadtrip. Will post efficiencies from before and after.

Same issue on my dual motor. They are replacing both motors right now.

vibration is felt through the accelerator mainly as well as an audible noise

Also I woke up this morning and now my controls for the tonneau and tailgate are no longer working. Tough times

I had both motors on my AWD replaced because of vibration and noise (subtle but measurable) between 50 - 65 mph.

Funny I came back around here wondering if what I was going through was weird or not though I should have expected it wasn’t.

both rear drive motors in mine are getting replaced after I heard a really high pitched noise whine start.

I should be able to test efficiency increased next month on a long road trip. My current average efficiency is 421 Wh/mi.
