Modern garage doors are supposed to have optical sensors around ankle height to reverse or inhibit closing if obstructed and force sensors to reverse if contact is made prematurely — regardless of activation method.Except you are not able to stop the garage door halfway, that's my biggest pet peeve about it. It's better in the sense that you know for a fact if you left the garage open or closed and you can close it remotely, etc. However, if it starts closing on you by mistake, you better get your truck out of the way because it will get crushed by the garage door, there's no way to stop it from the car. Maybe I'm dumb and I haven't figured it out but I had a separate thread about this and everybody agreed that there's no way to stop the garage door once it's opening or closing , you have to wait for it to fully open or fully close before activating MyQ on the Cyber truck again.
