Order Canceled by Tesla, Seeking Advice

I had an early reservation, and finally, my number came up. I configured my truck, paid my grand, and waited. By the time my vehicle was ready, I had moved states, then the dark interior came out, then I moved again, and my name came up, but I was on vacation, so I ignored it. My number came up again, but I was still out on vacation, but I went to schedule my date anyway, and none were available. So I texted Tesla. Somewhere in the conversation, I mentioned I wasn't in the state (because im on vacation), so the operator responded that I obviously had no intention of picking up the truck in the new state and I wasn't a resident, and before I could even respond, I received notice that Tesla canceled my reservation. So on vacation, I drive an hour to the local dealership, and they basically tell me it's my fault if I want the truck to put in another order (I'm not even complaining about the $1000 I just threw away). So I hop on the site to put a new order in, and the FS is gone.

Now I'm really frustrated.
Is there any way of fixing this?

Many showrooms have FS available for sale. Your best bet is going back to the showroom, asking for them to check all of your states inventory of for sale Cybertrucks and they will have a few guaranteed on site available. You will not find these on Teslas website under inventory. If you’re near another state you could also call that states showroom and have them do the same exercise. You’ll find one easily if Foundation is what you want.

Sure, it's possible you could easily find a Foundation Series in your locale, but it depends upon location. And I wouldn't expect them to last long, this is a very fluid situation, it might already be too late. Within a week or two it will probably be hard to get anything that isn't a demo vehicle.

The moral of the story? Life can be one long vacation, but you still have to manage it responsibly. I've rarely seen a purchase/sale agreement in which time was not important. That's why they have clauses in them like:

Delivery. If you are picking up your Vehicle in a state where we are licensed to sell the Vehicle, we wil notify you of when we expect your Vehicle to be ready for delivery at your local Tesla Delivery Center, or other location as we may agree to. You agree to schedule and take delivery of your Vehicle within one week of this date. If you are unable to take delivery within the specified period, your Vehicle may be made available for sale to other customers.
All Purchase/Sale agreements agreements are legal contracts that spell out each party's rights and responsibilities, I wish they were all as short, concise and clear as Tesla Purchase/Sale Agreements. In any case, buyers should always read and understand their rights and responsibilities. Sure, you can go on a three-month vacation, and party to your heart's content, but that doesn't absolve you from agreements you entered into when you were sober and responsible.

It seems like you travel a lot. What is wrong with the non-FS CT? Is it the badging you want, because you can get everything else ala carte.

It seems like you travel a lot. What is wrong with the non-FS CT? Is it the badging you want, because you can get everything else ala carte.
I don't care about the badging. I actually plan to wrap it and doubt anyone will see it.

The FS-CB comes with the powershare and the light bar which I believe comes with a significant savings over purchasing independently.

And while I’m not privy to your full interaction with Tesla, I’m appalled that they would act unilaterally against you when you were making an effort to work things out.

I responded promptly to all but one message. I had no idea making a change like interior color or relocating would use up one of my offers otherwise I would have left it aligned to Florida and just drove it back west.

Move to Canada. They still can order the foundation series. Easy

If you wanted powershare, that definitely hurts. With the $4k credit, that's how a FS Beast was cheaper than the current non-FS offering. I think even if you found a FS on a lot now, the $4k credit will be impossible to get.

Look on the bright side, you just save yourself 10 grand.. Order the Non-FS and add FSD, 88,000. Then purchase all the after market stuff everyone has been showing on the youtube reviews.
My example,,, Lasfit all weather floor mats, front and rear, $109 on amazon,, or you could pay $250 to elon for those crappy one's. More ways then one to skin a cat !
