I've seen a lot of "it better..." comments since the unveiling in November 2019. Some of them I would really like, and this is one of them, but at the end of the day what it will be will be and you and anyone can decide then whether you want the CT or the Lightning or the RT-1 or the Hummer or whatever other alternatives are available at the time. We all have our requirements some are more cast in stone than others. Right now I am more concerned about mirrors and wipers than in spare tires but only because I cannot drive without them.

If only this pick up truck had a cargo space of some kind. Possibly one with an easy access gate, maybe even a roll up cover to protect whatever is inside. If only somebody had thought of a bed of sorts for keeping larger items, such as tires, secure.

A boy can dream I guess.

In my first hours of DeLorean ownership, I got a flat. It was great fun finding the "doughnut" spare (under the frunk floor) and jack (hidden frunk compartment) on the side of the road in the dark.

Turned out the full-size wheel/tire would not fit in the frunk, even with the spare removed. It rode shotgun home.

good thing we have time to think ahead of the deliveries so we may know where those important things are located. A small LED in the frunk/bed what ever compartments will be handy. my 91 Chevy had a great little drop light under the hood that you could string out all the way to the rear bumper with a magnet on it; i loved that more then the power windows, sure came in handy at times.

boy that would be handy BillyGee :) i always hated those under the bed spares with the rack/lever/lock - they'd get hung up on the dandiest things and drag them down the road after a trip through the back pastures. Take Care sir, we'll get there.

I would say 'wash the mats out, that's what they're for'.

-Crissa
Yes, you are correct Crissa, but if it's carpet it will have to come out and a drain hole drilled in the cab; gotta clean it out to go dancing on Saturday Night ya know ;) be well,

not to be a stick in the mud, I am betting no.

my mind is set on purchasing (edit) a spare and keeping in the garage except for distance trips. Commuting will not carry the spare, jack and wrench. Will carry a plug kit at all times.
