I went back and forth with Qmerit and Tesla about installing my charger and PowerShare for months. To make a long story short I took delivery April 30th. In June I got my shop credit and an email from Qmerit to schedule the install. I already have a Gateway since I have PowerWalls so I just needed the Universal Charger. The first contractor Qmerit sent wanted to install conduit across the front of my house to get the power cable from the car port to the electrical box when there is an easily walkable attic with a built in ladder right there. Emails to Qmerit and Tesla and they sent a second company out. This one would run through the attic but wanted to charge $5,000 to do it. This was in October. Tesla said they would do it when they put in my third PowerWall but we don't know when that will be and I have been months without a charger for the Truck. So I went to Smart Charge America. I got a quote for half of what Qmerit wanted to charge and could get 18 months 0 interest payments to boot. Scott was amazing and the turn around between me saying yes and getting the installation done was 48 hours. Two techs and a supervisor came out and had everything installed in about 6 hours with only about 10 minutes of power outage while they put the breaker in the panel. They provisioned my charging station and connected to the wifi for me. I didn't have to do anything. They are a Tesla partner and can do PowerShare installations. They were amazing and I would use them again in a heartbeat. If you need a charger installed or PowerShare for your new CyberTruck give them a call they are nationwide and do great work.
