tbf, i dont think we have seen the latest revision fail. I think @CYBEAST had 2 fail but not sure if the second failure was the new PCS model.
We've seen VINs in the 80k range fail. I assume that was the newest version.

If the -G revision is dying, then they need to look at my posts on why I think it is failing. To give a better idea I'd have to examine a dead one with the circuit diagram and code. There may also be some switching issues causing increased heating.

They use a caulk like compound for heat transfer. They may need to switch to Silpads for greater heat transfer. Another thing is it may be becoming detached with time. That means they have to clamp it to keep pressure over time. With the ferrites there is a lot of mass attached to the PCB. They also may need support.

I got the same flapping sounds last week. I checked, and it's the cantrail on the left side coming loose. Scheduled the dreaded cantrail replacement. Not going to be happy with the indents, but what can you do?
Mine was fixed at service center. It turned out to be a few clips in the headliner that were broken. My cantrails are still original and seem solid. I'll probably replace them prior to warranty ending, but don't want to go through the hassel of re-wrapping them.

Cantrails are a recall, warranty timing doesn't apply. My passenger side let go at ~22 months.

There is no recall. Brought my truck in for cantrail replacement and asked SC to replace the PCS. They couldn’t find any error on my FS awd vin 37k. Told me to continue driving as they won’t proactively replace it until it fails!
Tell them it won’t charge above 24amp and they will make the change. Mine had no errors for several weeks, just charged at 24amps with no errors when I messaged the SC. They said it’s a pcs issue and got me in. You didn’t hear this from me.

It still logs alerts at 24A max charging, it just doesn't show the driver until it completely fails. Service can remotely verify failure or lack thereof.

Hmmm, I see "Correction Power Conversion System - Remove and Replace"

I also see "1777777-T2-G" listed in the "Parts Replaced" section

I guess you got a bad one? You'll survive

I don't think -G fixes it. I think they need to solder the FET side last, and mechanical attachment to keep them against the cold plate.
