Thanks, my version is E and VIN @35K. I thought it might mean that those VINs had a known defective PCS. Fortunately, mine is still error free 🤞 but I am dropping the amps to 24 until I hear they have the verified fix version in stock. ( I have free lifetime SC and it is working too. )
True. According to the site my CB VIN 37k is affected with rev E but I haven't seen any errors either. I also have lifetime free charging so I dont charge at home, just the occasional charge-on-solar which rarely go above 24A. I did reach out to my service center and they have no issues bringing me once they have the parts.

Looks like they’ll get me in on Monday. Only took about a week to get that part. Also confirmed that it’s the updated version.

I remember a couple of times when "Home backup not available" and one or two "charging not available" things from my App with my 28,0xx VIN. I haven't seen anything lately but I'm about 3,000 away from 40,000 miles...

It'll really suck if it breaks right out of warranty.

Check for alerts in service mode.
Basic warranty goes to 50k.

My '24 Foundation AWD CT (VIN 10,5xx) was supposed to go in for PCS replacement yesterday morning, but the parts were still listed as "In Transit" in the app. I checked with the service center and they confirmed that the parts were still backordered, now I have a new date from Tesla for May 26th.

Thankfully, I'm not actively experiencing any issues, though I do have the PCS health check failure messages in my service log, and my app shows that I have free supercharging until July 20, 2026 in case home charging stops working before the replacement.

Now I am worried.

I have a 47xxx VIN. According to the PCS tool, I have the E version.

I charge everyday at home, 48amps, and have 33,000 miles. So if this is a fatigue issue, I am surprised that I have not seen this issue yet.

No free supercharging, I checked.

Well, my PCS crapped out yesterday and my current status is “waiting for parts” and not yet eligible for scheduling a service visit. I do have free supercharging. Checked last night.

I'm buying a used 2025 cyber truck next week from Carmax. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to verify if it is having an issue?

I suppose you technically haven't "survived" yet, but...

Update on my PCS failure. I was given a Beast loaner while waiting for the parts to arrive, but parts aren’t expected until mid May. Tesla contacted me and saying they updated my firmware to allow DC charging (I had tried supercharging previously and it didn’t work). They are giving me 2 free months of supercharging
For the beast…my favorite drive setting is CUSTOM with comfort ride and handling, beast acceleration and higher ride height, enjoy! Feels like a trophy truck :)

Got my truck back today. All fixed up. They did some other things besides replace the PCS. Confused about the tonneau work…I never had any leaks into the bed and it’s been parked outside for a year. The sail appliqué work looks like they replaced everything around the tonneau…all the plastic looks new and my tonneau buttons are brand new. Plus the top of the tailgate looks new too.
Very happy to have the beast back…still no lightbar though!
