That’s not a bad deal on those wheels. I considered going that route too. The only negative is you will have the Core wheels displayed on the truck on the UI haha. I’m sure there will be a software update in the future that you can change the wheels to ones you bought used.
Pretty positive you can change the wheels. You can with other models, I'll look in the morning.

And the payload capacity...
And the max pressure...
CoPilot did the best of my goto LLMs when I asked about some specifics.

Oh, on my Model X I can switch between the 20 and 22’s…would think it would be the same on the CT

I had to place a new order to get the updated Loyalty discount and a VIN applied within a day. It was ready to go in Paramus.
Update for others who may be interested:

I stopped at my service center and the sales rep was able to look at inventory (Boston area). There were two AWD, grey, core wheels arriving today and tomorrow.

He texted me a link to a specific VIN, I used that to place the order.

Got a delivery date for Dec 10.

In order to get the $2k loyalty discount, I had to cancel my original reservation (got my $100 refunded the same day), and use my referral link to order the new vehicle.

It’s a 2024 model year and he said it was probably built in the last couple of weeks (Nov).

I did ask him if it was a 2025 model year and he said yes…until I looked up the VIN via a decoder.

I'm surprised that the Tesla rep thought it was and told you it's a 2025. It cant be that difficult...right? lol R or S in the 10th digit!

At this point I am convinced 2025’s won’t start production until 1/1/2025.

Not surprising about the lack of vehicles knowledge. I knew way more about the Model Y that we purchased in 2021 than the sales rep.

To give them credit they need to know facts about the Model X, Model Y, Model 3, Model S and now the Cybertruck.

I know right?!

Honestly, I wonder if the Tesla system even displays the model year...you'd think it would and my guess is that it did....

I'm optimistically guessing that they'll start with the 2025s before the end of the year...perhaps even today or tomorrow when the workers return to the assembly line!
