Just saying hi as a new member! Looking forward to getting my Cyber Truck. Stupidly I ordered 30. No idea how I’ll pay for them yet but one at a time is a good start

Tesla could come out with an additional hold deposit required prior to being able to configure your CT which would then filter out at least some of the multiple orders. Say, an additional $900 to advance your pre-order to a post-configured Cybertruck. I don't know if Tesla has ever done that before but it could shake the tree a little.

Some points I would like to make based on your post:

1. If you ordered 30 Cybertrucks, then you should know by now that there is no space between "Cyber" and "truck". I mean, it seems you are a true loyalist to the CT...
2. How do you even "stupidly order" 30 Cybertrucks? I mean, I have done stupid things when I am drunk, but that means you would have to go to the reservation page 30 separate times. I doubt you did that.
3. If you aren't flipping these trucks for a quick profit (according to your post), why did you even order 30 of them? Are you forming a company fleet?

Sorry, but I am just a little skeptical about your post, and would put my money that this is fake news....

But, on the other hand, I have been wrong a few times in my 45 years.

Do I detect a note of jealousy? A CT running full-time as a Robo-taxi should make > $40,000/yr.. x 30 = $1,200,000/yr.. Good motivation to press the "button" a few times..

Yes, robotaxi is a potential good income source, in which we can speculate how much you will actually earn... BUT, you still need the initial investment/financing to secure 30 Cybertrucks. Assuming the cost of the truck is $60,000 x 30 = $1.8M.

Yeah.. 30 all at once is a big bite. Taking 'em in over time.. getting a chance to chew on 'em a little before getting the next set might not be so bad.

We'll see what happens when Tesla starts sending out purchase requests. Will Tesla start at order #1 or will they go through and find the quad motor registrations and do those first. I'm not sure there's anything in writing that says reservations are selected in order.

Quad-motor wasn't a thing back then. Top of the line was Tri-motor. Likely they'll release the configuration choices and build quads and tri's first.. Likely in batches

So is this 2023 dollars or 2033 dollars which is likely the earliest a Robo taxi is realistic?

they’d only cancel if they had reasons to believe the purchases weee being made in bad faith for resale purposes
