I changed my mind on the SS and am actually considering a camo wrap now. I wonder what the factory options are and how much they will cost? Same as optional paint? Technically they could have 100's of colour and pattern options if they have a printer on-site that prints it just before they need to put it on. Maybe even custom ones. Imagine that.

It is *very* poor by today's standards of making cars easy to see. Especially in inclement weather. I think this is a major fail actually. They weighted/went_for style instead of function and safety.

I'm fine with the tail lights. $5 to replace if they ever break.

Better pic friends.

Given that the traffic lights are yellow on the intersection, it would mean the CT is stationary in this photo. If so those tyres are either bald or have super low tread on them for highway use.

I think we are going to see two tyre options possibly on top of the wheel options. An offroad and onroad tyre option.

I see lots of prototypes testing where I live. They are NOT trying to show you what the vehicle will look like. Lot's of times the tailights are very limited. Here's one I saw in May. It's an EV that isn't expected to be sold to the public for 2 years the driver told me.

Great point. Cheap vs safety ... ya, that is what we all want and need /s

does Tesla offer LED lights that are bulb-replaceable?

Ford’s are encapsulated housings that are replaced in their entirety. And you can add a couple zeros to your $5 replacement cost

I like your thinking____this will however, slowdown production ramp and delivery. You can do it any time after taking 'The Keys'
Tesla might 'open source' the 'cut-out' and make it available to third parties, including 'JBee Swarms'. SWEET(!)
