So I’m in a similar boat to charliemagpie. I have an m18 inflator with good sized hot swappable batteries (6ah and 5ah) and am just now learning about 4 tire setups. The morrflate airhub looks pretty sweet albeit expensive.
if I got something like this, could I use my already owned m18 as the airflow source for that system? Would I just set the m18 target pressure higher than whatever the target pressure is on the airhub?
Can anyone venture a guess or has direct experience on how performance would compare to the TC-BL?
Yes, you can use the MorrFlate hose system with the Milwaukee M18 inflator but you will need to adapt the feed hose to the standard compressed air fitting (because the M18 has a Schrader valve air chuck). The MorrFlate comes with a male compressed air fitting.

The good news is the M18 will inflate faster using the MorrFlate hose due to less back-pressure between the compressor and the tire valve. The difference will be significant. There will also be less heat buildup and your M18 inflator will last longer than if you achieved the same thing filling one tire at a time.

A rough guess comparing the speed of the M18 to the TC-BL in this application: The M18 will take roughly two to three times as long. As to setting the target pressure on the M18, I think it will handle that automatically with at least respectable accuracy. It should be within about 1-2 psi. The nice thing is all tires will have the same pressure, regardless of whether the M18 pressure shut-off is inconsistent or not. If it's off by a pound or two, you can simply adjust the target pressure to compensate.

Thank you. That’s incredibly helpful. By “adapt” do you mean use some sort of coupling that’s a schrader valve on one side and a standard fitting on the other or is that also restrictive and needs to be removed/modified?

What do you think of the new setup?

1. TC·BL air compressor
2. Rhino 4 wheel tire inflation/deflation system
3. Jayco flow pro
4. Stain 15-55psi auto stop deflators

Different combinations for different scenarios but so far fill up fast and evenly.

What setups do you have?

Question, does the frunk struggle to open with those attached to the molle panels? Not sure how heavy they are but I have found there is a fairly low limit to mounting stuff to mine. After about 7-10lbs mine sounds like the motor is a little under duress and it opens much slower.

Unfortunately, the Schrader air chuck will need to be removed from the M18 inflator to get the full benefit of the MorrFlate 4-Way Hose.

Kind of reviving an old thread here, but I wanted to give a shoutout to HaulingAss and his excellent advice on the TC•BL AC compressor. Seems solid...we'll see how long it lasts!

Here's my original thought process on airing up. I have a Thor's Lightning manifold for airing up and down. I have a beloved 12V Viar 450P compressor. I bought a Eagwell AC to 12V DC converter which supplies 50 amps. I stuff it into a small bag along with an assortment of things like a lighter socket, ect. It's a keeper, even if I don't go with plan A as above. Plan A worked, but as you'll see, MUCH slower than the TC•BL.

Here's my test: I deflated all 4 OEM Pirelli tires from 50psi to 35psi... 1 minute 30 seconds with my manifold.

Setup A using the Viar 450P and 12V converter took 12 minutes 45 seconds from 35 to 50psi for all 4.

Setup B using the TC•BL took 4 minutes flat from 35 to 50psi for all 4.

I bought a 15 inch tool bag from Home Depot for the TC•BL. Got that, a tire plug kit, Thor's Lightning manifold, and an 18 inch tool bag for random tools and recovery items stored away in the smugglers bay.

Side note: I know the OEM Pirellis aren't made for deflating too much, and I'm still debating as to how low I'll go. Maybe 40psi for light trail use. ??

You guys all do know that the CT has an onboard compressor, right? with a chuck behind the fender?

I knew there was a compressor for the air suspension. What chuck? Which fender? User accessible?

Grok:
"There is no definitive evidence from available sources that the Tesla Cybertruck's onboard air compressor can be used with a chuck mounted behind the fender. While the Cybertruck has an onboard air compressor primarily for its air suspension system, discussions on forums and web sources suggest that accessing this compressor for tire inflation or other uses via a chuck behind the fender is not a standard feature.
Some owners have noted an air connection port behind a fender flare, but it’s speculated to be for air suspension or battery pressurization in wade mode, not for external use like tire inflation. For tire inflation, Tesla offers a separate Cybertruck Air Compressor + Tire Repair Kit with digital controls and a maximum pressure of 80 psi, designed specifically for tire maintenance.
Without official confirmation from Tesla or clear user reports, it’s unlikely the onboard air compressor can be accessed via a fender-mounted chuck for general use. If you’re looking to inflate tires, you may need to rely on the standalone Tesla air compressor kit or an aftermarket solution, as some owners have done by mounting their own compressors in the truck bed or under storage areas."

Wow. Sorry Grok!
its behind the right rear fender (easily removable) it is not a standard chuck and needs a special fitting that uses a pin. I believe its an air conditioner fitting.

Does anyone here actually use this air compressor connection behind the fender for tire inflation?
Curious what your experiences have been.

I wouldn't use it. I have to assume that connection is for servicing the air suspension in some way. If it was intended to be used as a air connection for owners it would not be hidden behind the fender trim. Yes it will provide air but the compressor for the air suspension is not designed to inflate tires.

no hate/shade im interested in just the reasoning:

seems like the venn diagram for this setup has nested circles haha. (but I have no off road experience yet) wont just having #1 and #2 handle everything? the Stauns seem especially overkill since you have the Rhino, given that the Stauns are $100

and can you give a link to the specific compressor you have here?
