About a year. Straight from drift is much better. I only use Amazon when I want to supplement with a particular smell. Otherwise I have the variety subscription which is mostly hit but occasional miss (read…fig tree).
Valets, car wash guys, car guests etc pretty much always comment on the smell. It’s truly great and they dont want to get out of the car. I myself am very picky about smell and hate most car air fresheners but not these.
Customer service is good. if one arrives broken or doesn’t arrive, they just ship you new ones, no questions asked. Shipping is a little slow but it doesn’t matter once you’re in a pattern. Only for the initial order and if you want to add something. They occasionally give you access to the scent “vault” so you can repeat a scent you liked from earlier in the year. The scents are somewhat seasonal too. As in, spring appropriate, summer scents, holiday scents etc. For the most part they are good.
Again, shipping is slow. That is why I occasionally use Amazon if I just want a particular scent fast. Prime delivery time estimates are religiously stuck to no matter who has to poop in a bag and get their pay docked to get your stuff to you.?
So, yes, they are a little spendy especially if you use two (4 for both cars) like I do but to me, absolutely worth it.
As for the reasoning for two, they smell strong for two or so days but then last the entire month. One fades too fast for me.
Definitely go for the stone over the wood
How do the replacement "pods" work? Do they ship you a new stone every month? Or is it that you keep the stone you have you and drop your oil onto the original stone pod?

New stone with magnet inside it. Metal clip stays behind

I use two stone fresheners (one on each visor). Replaced once a month when the subscription package arrives. I love them. Been doing that for over a year. Also use them in the model x.
Stone definitely lasts longer
Do you have a favorite scent to start out with?

On another note, I was looking on Amazon and found a hilariously named knock-off brand ?

I have been using these ($3/$4) they last for a few months. Some of the sents are stronger than others, of course.
I picked up mine at a Buc-ee’s for $3.xx.

Would having a scented HEPA filter be counter-productive? ?
I believe there are scent packets that you can add to air filters. I’ve only seen them for home air filters recently.

I’ve been using these low‑profile vent clips that sit almost flush with the slats, so nothing eats up cup holder space. For scent, I sometimes pop in fresh citrus kitchen candles at home and let the jars cool in the truck for a bit, which leaves a clean, bright smell without anything bulky staying inside. It’s a cheap little hack that’s worked better for me than most dedicated car fresheners.
