• The structural battery will let it be under three tons.
• It'll be the most efficient light truck.

• It'll best the moose test.
• ...It will exceed car safety standards, not just other trucks.

It it doesn't, I won't buy it.

This is a huge part of the appeal for me. I like the functionality of trucks, but I don't especially like trucks. Having a covered bed, backroad/beach/snowstorm driving ability, spacious interior AND good aerodynamics, a sleek shape, low center of gravity and great visibility both for safety and general driving/parking comfort sounds like the perfect vehicle.

Just the other day someone was advocating for higher ride heights for “Better Visibility”.

What’s going to be weird is I think Cybertruck versus ICE truck collisions are going to be far deadlier to pickup occupants that the Cybertruck occupants. In spite of the normal ride height difference.

The safety features and low body on the Cybertruck will be highly survivable. Pickup trucks will run over the hood over the Cybertruck and roll over. We already see this with even the Model Y.
