Just recently I received this message and saw that there is significant amount of fog/condensation on my “Main” forward facing camera. See the photo attached.

Has anyone else had this and how do you get into the main camera to clean it? Or is this something that Tesla Service needs finding.

Yeah… I have a service appointment coming up and I am going to ask them. Just didn’t know if this was common.

I get it all the time but it's from sunlight, not dirt. It goes away, at least for me, when I'm no longer in sunlight or bright lights.

Interior outgassing fogs the inner surface of the windshield in front of the cameras. Service center cleaned mine when it went in for recalls.
Here's the procedure:

After they do it once, won't it just eventually just come back? Or is it less likely after doing it once? Mine only has had this happen after it got cold.
Interior outgassing (new car smell) decreases over time. You can judge by how often you clean the windshield you can see. We've done the interior twice and the cameras once (occurred between full cleanings)

This is common in the CT. Th glues and plastics they used on this were unlike any of my other Tesla. For the first two months, had to scrub the inside windshield with dish soap. It’s done now but that camera area is all murky now, getting it cleaned when I get my wheel covers

I have been having these pop up virtually every time I get in the truck, and I have been clearing the history. I sent a note to the local SC and they told me (as others here have) that the shrouding over the front cameras has to be removed and they have added it to my next visit. It seems to me that something is wrong that this is happening. It never happened before last week and never at all on our Model Y (or our Model 3 before that).
