The Silverado will start production this fall with range of 400 miles, towing capacity of 10k-20k lbs and start at $105k.

I don't think they will manufacturer many and I don't think they'll sell many either if the CT is released in volume by then.

@jerhenderson They are supposed to be releasing a more affordable one at some point. The $105k is the intro model.

But I think their assumption is they will sell a bunch at this price.

GM likes to make a lot of noise than they are about affordable EVs but they are so slow getting them out they only end up selling the top end of those lineups.

At $105k? I’m sure they’ll sell out all 200 they are able to manufacture this year. By the time they are able to make more than a handful, the electric truck market will be changed.

Well, you might be right.

If the 400mi Silverado pickup is any thing like the Hummer, each 200mi Silverado pickup will weigh 10-tons before being any payload was loaded.
