All this focus on the dimensions, I'm just loving that you can see that the cab is near-perfectly still during the suspension tests. Very encouraging to see, especially if these are still early runs and they still have some fine-tuning left to do.

As for the video of the u-turn in the rain, we should keep in mind that these tests and turns are not made with us in mind. I don't think the driver was trying to turn as tight as possible. As a pickup driver myself, it is almost second-nature to aim to get your outside wheels to line up with the outermost lane marker and not to simply perform the tightest turn possible. Add rain to the equation and you wind up turning even wider to ensure traction and avoid fish-tailing.

Colors are weird.

We like to think of colors as fixed things, but they very between cultures and even our basic colors have shifted from generation to generation. If you took a picture of a robin few people would call it “red”, but that was what we called red just few handfuls of generations ago. Likewise people are called redheads because that used to be considered red.

Between cultures it’s even weirder with colors like green and blue being confused.

Don’t even get me started on violet versus purple… that one is a real head twister.

Sucks for me... Im colorblind...

Bizarre line of thinking.

It was the 1300s when robins and gingers were dubbed “red” - because it was 250 years before there existed a word for the color “orange.”

Saying “colors are weird because a few generations ago people used to think robins were red” is like saying “space is weird because a few generations ago people used to think meteors were an omen of failing crops.”
