Not sure if anyone has had this happen. Last Tuesday (Cold 15 Degrees), I went to open door but couldn't. CT was dead. What was a clear indicator there was a serious problem, I didn't see the screen sentry mode activate, nothing. After numerous attempts no luck. I called Tesla, they tried a remote access, no luck. A service call was placed (props to Tesla service, they arrived within an hour). CT was not moveable. Literally there was no power in the vehicle. The tech was finally able to locate/remove a cover on driver side front bumper to access power cables to open frunk. Frunk was opened, then he removed a cover panel below the windshield that gained access to power cables for the main power. He literally connected jumper cables and we could power the vehicle enough to place CT in towing mode. Leaving the external power source connected, The tech was able to load CT onto tow truck bed.

Day 2 Tesla update - I went to service center, received a loaner (Thank you Tesla!). Service staff staffed team has never seen this problem. Escalated to engineering. Four days later -No meaningful Tesla service update. Tesla app indicates a completion date of next Friday. Fingers crossed that's actually the case.

Open the door didn’t drive it. Couldn’t open the doors at 6pm…. Never a hint or error code.

Plugged in but not charging-was full 78%.

its unfortunate, but it's not the end of the world. it's a car - things will go bad, not if but when.

I'm wondering if there will be a 48v "jumper" just in case something like this happens to someone..

Yeah it was not good…. But the truck is amazing, incredibly amazing…. Just hoping these things will get worked out.

Yeah I’m going to buy 1, leave it in the garage. I had some things in the truck that I really needed. Luckily I didnt have to go to work. A trim tool would be useful too, you have to pull up some trim in the frunk, that trim tool would be handy.

Exactly same thing happened to me around 3 weeks back. They were able to bring the truck back to life, but kept looking for the root cause on why it had happened. Initially they said that the front and rear oil pumps threw failure messages, but later said that it was not the reason. Truck was returned on the 10th day and they said that this is a one off issue and should not happen again. They did not do any repair nor they could give any reason on why it happened.

Did they give you a cyber truck loaner? There are so many in inventory they should start letting us have those not old model 3s or whatever.

I went to Tesla Dublin for service last week and they told me they have 2 CTs for loaners but they had not finished processing them yet.

Day 6 - Update or rather no meaningful update - Requested an update and received text stating they "are performing diagnostics and don't have an update". All the while, I keep trying to connect to the vehicle but can't. Still showing a repair completion of Friday Jan 31st.
