I concur if they are going to be a business entity then they need to stand behind things if a salesperson goes rogue and hopefully they will. I am happy to facilitate comms as needed to any degree that I can.
You’re a stand-up guy Ken.

There's nothing like a good battle! This time we pit the cargo vault divider from Tesla vs. …
This article is total clickbait with strawman arguments

TLDR? The Tesla OEM divider version 1.0 that they no longer send to customers is worse than the Teslovix version, the Teslovix version being what the Virgin Mary herself would use. Nevermind that the Tesla OEM 2.0 that has been sent to customers for nearly a year now is fantastic and works perfectly fine.

I concur, hopefully @Tesstudio or someone at Teslovix will chime in... I'm sure the people who got cheated appreciate you getting their back too.

@Tesstudio has been dishonest from the start. They have a reputation for stealing marketing images from other companies, specifically the Mars Adventure Gear fiasco in late ‘24/early ‘25. Doesn’t surprise me that they employed a scumbag who ripped people off. I’ll stick with OEM and ‘Merican made stuff.

Please buy me one of the updated Tesla models with removable feet and I am happy to do another comparison. :p I can only compare with what I have. I would not think removing feet would mean that the bottom of the Tesla unit would grip as well as compared to the aftermarket one that still has a large rubber foot that can be adjusted to tighten the fit. You make a good point, but again I don't have one of those units to test, but happy to do so in order to make this a 2-part series.
the new OEM Tesla version is a complete redesign, so this "test" is irrelevant. I have the updated Tesla version, which is great.

I think part of the problem is no one knows when they made these revisions so if you bought one from a 3rd party you'd have to find that out and as I recall for some period of time Tesla was selling both styles, presumably until they ran out of the original style. I have not seen any documentation on what changed with the lock mechanism so that would be interesting to find out as well.
I had one of each. My original 2/25 version was Gen 1. My 6/25 version that replaced it was much improved, has no breakage issues, clicks in solidly, and works with/without bed mat.

I disagree, for anyone with the V1 Tesla divider (like me) I think it makes sense to compare it to the aftermarket ones to see what is the same and what is different and which one is more flexible.

As mentioned above, it would also make for a good video to compare the V2 Tesla one with the Aftermarket ones to see if Tesla closed the gap, moved beyond, etc. I haven't heard of any of these dividers having breakage issues unless people forced the latch mechanisms beyond what they could tolerate, was there some other kind of breakage you are referring to?

After doing business with Kai from Tesstudio several times, he took my order and I paid him via PayPal as I have done before. But this time he just disappeared and my order for two model X powered frunk kits never arrived. I feel swindled.
Have you reached out to TesStudio? If so what was their response?

@Tesstudio and @teslovix. If you have any semblance of professionalism now is your moment to comment. Whether your bed divider is a good buy is the least of anyone’s concerns about you on this forum.
FYI I DM'd you the contact information I have for the person at Teslovix if you want to reach out to him. If you DM me your # I can add you to a WhatsApp conversation if you prefer that.

I'm sorry, where are the videos and articles you are producing? Calling this article click bait is a bit extreme but whatever, everyone has an opinion. :ROFLMAO: I don't recall the Virgin Mary being mentioned in the article. Tesla has not retroactively replaced all of the defective V 1.0 versions out there with V 2.0's have they? Nope. So for those who don't know the differences, this article and video is a good start to compare dividers and as mentioned above comparing the Tesla 2.0 vs aftermarket is still on the table. I have no doubt the Tesla V2 works better than the V1 because the V1 barely works at all. :p

It would seem a reminder is needed: you don’t need a fancy YouTube channel (or a blog) to have real world experience. @CT_AZ_4x4 has one of the most decked out CTs on earth. I for one don’t dismiss what he says just because he doesn’t have a following on social media.

I intentionally have practically zero social media.

I’m not getting kickbacks for “views” or “clicks” for posing and pretending to be helpful to forum members by presenting dishonest product comparison “battles” while in bed with one of those supposedly being honestly “reviewed.”

Selling out fellow Cybertruck owners to Chinese overlords is not part of my DNA.

I whole heartedly agree with this, you dont need to have a social channel to be experienced or knowledgeable a about something, it really doesn't mean much.. Also his truck is pretty bad ass..
