Missed my point. Just because the rear passenger's side opens 90 degrees doesn't mean that the rear driver's side is supposed to. They came to the conclusion that it was the wrong hinges. I say that it was designed that way.
You're really not up to speed about the specs. Yes both rear doors open to 90. Now you know. Everyone knows that so you're barking up the wrong tree. Get your facts right then comment. Come in man.

Source? I truly have seen any spec anywhere about it.

Putting together a formal list of concerns regarding the Cybertruck to present to Tesla. I want to make sure I don’t miss anything and I need your help.

1- What are your top 5 and how did you arrive at your conclusion?
2- Practically, How would you like to have Tesla resolve your Top 5?

Please provide as many facts as possible. Speculation will get us nowhere.
Let is know what they say 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I'm pretty sure that the door didn't have the wrong hinges, that was just because the use wasn't understood. I lay odds, that it was designed to roll bikes in from the passenger side, not the driver's side.

Screens going black is no big deal, especially with certain versions of software. And an early release Employee version would be one.
It is supposed to open 90 deg. Tesla or any other company is not perfect…

I'm not saying that it doesn't. It made sense to me. I really would like something to know if it is correct or incorrect. One YouTube reviewer accidentally finding something out does not a fact make.

Are there other examples where they both do open? I'm serious.

Festivus isn't until December 23. You've got all year to work on your list. (Or, alternatively, you're two weeks too late).

· Add a spray nozzle to all cameras, not just the front bumper one. Cameras have been getting many errors of occlusion or blocked by rain on the Model 3/Y so Tesla should already have the data on that. Only exception are the front windshield cameras because the BAW takes care of those.
· Also make sure the software and cameras don't give false errors of occlusion just because one happens to be driving in a dark area. Even if it takes night activated IR emitters to mitigate erroneous errors at night it should be done, because that will only enhance FSD vision anyway. This problem may not even be persistent in the Cybertruck though, as I haven't seen anyone specifically test for it yet. But if this problem is prevalent, it may also be at least partially mitigated by the spray nozzles mentioned above.
· Find a way to include interior assist handles because when minimization counters function it is a regression and not a refinement. It's often easier to grab a handle getting in or out, instead of waiting for truck to adjust to a lower height. Many seasoned truck owners won't like the missing handles at all. Handles would save wear and tear on the air suspension too. Minimization is good for a lot of what Tesla does, but blindly pushing it in every single use case is obsessive and counter-innovative. Design features which add constant or excessive latency to human interaction, should be eliminated.
· I'm going to wait until I drive one to finalize my opinion on this, but currently I'm thinking Tesla should bring back stalks, and also bring back 'latching' turn signal stalks as well. So much more intuitive and easier to use. However, I might be one to 'get used to' the skorkel wheel signal buttons, especially since the turn lock-to-lock ratio is reduced from steer by wire. I'll have to wait and see.
· Flux Capacitor

My biggest disappointment is the tailgate. I understand the ramp was too much of an engineering compromise, but they didn’t do anything creative with it, not even so much as a cupholder molded into the interior. It went from being a super-functional highlight to an uninspired obligation.

Agreed that the rear camera needs a washer, since it is the primary rear-view mechanism. And on that note, I’d like the mirror to be a display.

The lack of an AC outlet in the frunk area seems like a miss. There is a 48v source but apparently of low current, making it unlikely to be sufficient for a wench.

Adding a midgate would be a significant redesign, but making the back glass removable seems straightforward.

Grab handles are great, but there’s no place on the pillars for them due to the side-impact airbags. Maybe something on the dash for the passenger, and the seat backs for the rear, but such protrusions have their own safety implications.

Oh yeah, and I’d like that “sooner and cheaper” thing too lol

I think they were just time constrain to get the truck out. we should see more improvement over time. Tesla hasn't really "Mastered" making EVs yet, they are just more mature compared to a decade ago and still learning as they build.

Early Model S didn't even have door pockets!

Your wench seems like she’s kinda high maintenance, Gus. Clearly she’s pretty hot tho….

Not a Cybertruck (yet)
Country flag
1. Real world highway range is too low (AWD)
2. No timeline for when all season road tires will be available (and improve range as opposed to the all terrain tires it has now)
3. No timeline for when AUTOPILOT/AUTOSTEER/FSD will be available
4. No timeline for when normally priced AWD will be available (as opposed to Foundation Series)
5. No timeline for when the range extender will be available (if it will ever be made)

*Bottom line - "no timeline for" is unacceptable as the communication from Tesla ever since the "delivery event" has been severely lacking. It doesn't feel like an actual "production vehicle" as many features are missing and the actual "production models" aren't even order-able.
