And I hate both. Ok, I don’t hate the mirrors but I just don’t see the BAW working in mud, snow, slush, bugs, etc.
the BAW will be fine for all of that..... the vertical position won't allow for the frozen gooey accumulation that occurs with every horizontal wiper.

Anybody else thinking that this truck might not have a frunk? Or a least not a swinging hood? That back edge seam sure doesn't seem like it would swing clear of that fugly wiper.

Whether they have a frunk, or not, they need access to that space: wiper fluid, bio defense filter, suspension access, 12v battery, etc.

Everyone freak out !!!! Let’s speculate!! Let’s draw conclusions!!
Wow, little wheels BIG wiper…I mean, you could go fishin” with that BIG ASS WIPER!
it's not the number of wipers that's important, but how you use it.

Yeah, but it would add complexity and you'd be sitting on the light assembly, which is probably not ideal.
Joe could be right on the money!
I'm seeing the left 'edge' with panel gap Tesla is famous for in early vehicles, so this is doable if the structure is NOT compromised.
The light assembly ( Light Sabre )
as mentioned would be part of the Frunk 'lid'.
This is clearly an 'Open & Shut Case'

how about this, hood goes up, front swings down like a tailgate, but a “frontgate” to do work on, sit and put your golf shoes on, tailgate, etc, etc. this setup even beats ford, imo.
'FRUNKGATING'.

PS l can't spell proper, Jow

Anybody else think the aspect ratio on this pic is off or is it just the weird proportions of this massive truck causing my brain to warp?
Seems like every angle you take the Cybertruck from gives a different impression of size/ shape.

There does seem to be a bit of heightening to this shot. Maybe illusion based on camera angles. Those weird angles play havoc with the mind. Hopefully it’ll get me out of a speeding ticket some day.

More likely it'll get you into one.

My Mazda 3 just attracted cops the first year I had it. I'd be picked out of flowing traffic, never when I was going faster.

I'm curious about the wiper. Will it be telescoping? I noticed on the picture below the wiper is much shorter.

Man that wiper ruins this thing. The mirrors are worse but they are removable so no issue. As for the wiper, put it in the dang hood!!!
I’m starting to worry they won’t have the wiper solved in time for production.
I get no one wants to wait another five years for them to figure out the laser beams idea. But that thing is ugly yes.
My question: has anyone done a schematic to see how much coverage one wiper has on the windscreen? If this wiper leaves the passenger with half a view in the rain, that kind of annoyance would kill a normal car’s sales.

How do you “Like” a wiper? Or dislike it for that matter?

It’s a stick that swipes water off the windshield. People need to get over it.

”Oh mai, that sure is an Ugly stick you got there, the window sticks on my Ford are way sexier than that.”

Do you even wipe bro?
