Looking at the face of the Cybertruck is like looking at the face of your girlfriend. Best to have performance with the looks and not all looks and no performance.

That is one hell of a gap between the body and rear bumper.

Always thought this gap was clever, as a 'Step' reaching or climbing into the Vault. No need to open the tailgate. But l'm no 'Trucker' unless you count my '61 VW Single Cab
Pick-up in the '80s to 2000

A couple more thoughts here. The panel gap on the left and right edges of the front seem wider than in previous designs. Just wondering if this might be a sign they will have the frunk opening extend to the bottom of the grill.

Also, you can see a wide area at the top which could be the light bar everyone seems to love.

Yes, while we haven’t seen the upper light bar (on), I’m hopeful that the wide area up there can accommodate one and so they’ll have little reason to not include. Especially when I recall Elon talking about it at some point.

Further, one thing that is worth remembering is that the UI leak suggested 20” of clearance, which is insane(ly) awesome and fits with what Elon had said about wanting to increase the suspension travel even more in a tweet.

Finally, I’m betting that the line in the glass that was seen along the passenger side roof is related to connectivity. Starlink RV built in anyone? “Insane technology bandwagon” if I remember.

After careful inspection of the photo I believe it will have a bed to cabin pass thru, V2G compatability, Steam integrated in infotainment, and a physical button to open the glove box. ? oh yeah and T slots, lol. Other than that, it's really hard to tell. Anybody else think the aspect ratio on this pic is off or is it just the weird proportions of this massive truck causing my brain to warp?

I will be shocked if the upper light blade makes production.

I am really looking forward the future Monro and Associates Cybertruck tear down. I have so many questions;

-are all of SS body panels 3mm thick?
-what type of metal is the BIW constructed from?
-is the SS really an exoskeleton design?
-what type of glass is Tesla using?
Munro would laugh at most of these questions so I will answer all but the BAW question (which is reasonable and answer is unknown): (1) yes, (3) yes, and (4) Tesla Armored Glass.

Interesting photo. One thing that looks very clear to me is the cut lines on the side of the front. Looks like they adapted the F150's style frunk, and the front of the vehicle will open with the hood. that's a very good thing, the Ford approach is the best by far.
how about this, hood goes up, front swings down like a tailgate, but a “frontgate” to do work on, sit and put your golf shoes on, tailgate, etc, etc. this setup even beats ford, imo.

Both of these guesses seem logical.

Yeah, but it would add complexity and you'd be sitting on the light assembly, which is probably not ideal.

Unibrow wiper and side mirrors were not finalized yet.
And I hate both. Ok, I don’t hate the mirrors but I just don’t see the BAW working in mud, snow, slush, bugs, etc.
