I'm pretty sure they built that motor to be very strong...but since it's stowed vertically all you need to do is heat the windshield before you leave and it should melt all the snow pretty quickly. I was in Tahoe and it snowed like 2 ft and I just preconditioned the vehicle pretty hot and the snow was almost all gone in prob 7-9 mins. Again I'm sure they thought of every scenario imaginable and it's pretty easy to throw snow on it to see how everything works.

If this thing lasts a million miles as designed, first couple units may become collector items, BAW and all.. At least i can hope! I did both: preordred ASAP with a 4000th place in line, and then again two years later. Haha, my second reservation is #2,310,732 . Should get those kinks out 3-4 years down the road.. Wonder if FSD will still be in beta by then (probably!)

It looks like if deer jumps in front of you in the rain, it may get wiped out by the BAW before hitting the windshield. Who knows it may even wipe the clouds out of the way.

Yeah, I'm at 44K but anyone before that should probably delay their delivery to avoid teething problems. Life is too short to deal with initial issues! When Tesla notifies you that your Cybertruck is ready, just delay delivery until they have sent at least 44-50K out the door, preferably 100K.

I would be concerned about the torque needed to move that arm with buildup like snow....

a snowbrush solves that issue.

It would seem that if the two wiper blades are offset like int he photo it would leave a line at the top of the lower wiper on the windscreen on the down stroke, but then collect it again on the up stroke when it parks vertically.

I’ve got a feeling with running the defrost for a few minutes which you were going to do anyways snow would literally slide off down to the front. Not likely but maybe we’ll get heated windshields.

It might make sense to extend the heating wires into the top of the Frunk. That way snow would go like a big Avalanche, once it heated up...

I am sub 35k in line. Factoring in the percentages of Single and Dual motor orders I’m sub 13k in line. I have faith in Elon and will gladly take my truck early. You’ll be two years out
