that's with range extender, i believe

but either way, there's really no substantive difference between the two - a few degrees ambient temp change and it goes from 3.9 to 4.1
I'm actually thinking it might be a typo or with the purchase of an acceleration boost.

I only say that because the range section specifically says +range extender

mirrors folded doesn't count (reg f150 wider than 80 with mirrors folded)

market lights measured absent mirrors
Whew, that's true. I was panicking about that. Now I can panic about all the other whacky things we learned today.

I would be delighted if the "Range Extender" is a battery pack that I could carry and connect from the underbelly of my travel trailer. 😍

[I don't for a minute think this is remotely possible🙁]

You may have a bum number for Bed Cargo. Tesla website says 67 cu-ft. But I suspect there number includes wedge-shaped area that's higher than the tailgate.

yes, i was choosing the lariat on an all-in features basis in terms of fit, finish, large screen, etc., as being the most direct compare

no doubt that the XLT would save some money, in trade for some downgrade from lariat in tech/finishings

yes, that involves a note that i somehow didn't include

i did this specific calc (56.2 cuft) based on my own calc of the tonneau being closed, given the known height of the front and rear of the bed (as a slope).

I'm not sure exactly how Tesla calculates the volume of this prism, or with the tonneau open/closed, etc. i suppose we'll find ot from some reviewer.

this is one of many metrics of the bed that are somewhat illusive, and different people (eg Tesla vs me) will view differently what should/shouldn't 'count'

Because I would rather have the weight that I don't need when not towing be easily left with the travel trailer and not have to lug it around on day trips away from my campsite.

Range extender would be nice for travel days. But the idea of it taking up space and efficiency when I'm not towing is disappointing. If it could be used to extend boondocking comfort, even if the tow vehicle is away from the campsite, THAT would be excellent!
