It's not flat, and we also can't be sure we aren't seeing a reflection of the inside surface of the glass.

With the right lighting, things can appear to be hovering while sitting on a glass surface. The light from behind can refract and hide the shadow.

Maybe there was a cap on there but the cap broke & fell off.

It is a prototype NOT a production version for sale.

Maybe they were testing by throwing steel balls against the windshield and one missed the windshield and hit the wiper bolt cap!

There must have been 2 trucks in Michigan or they have different rear doors on opposite sides. The forward facing camera at the rear door is mounted different. Or it might be just a artifact from the Twitter video

Never noticed before but the sills are wide and big! Looks more refined in the micro details like that which they never had to think about in the broad strokes of the prototype!

Man! The wiper and side mirrors grew on me. I love this Cybertruck.

I agree. Also, what is super cool, is the fact you can take them off. BAW looks easy enough. I wonder if there is a cap (cover) and mirrors look great too. I would love to see how easily they are able to be removed. Love to see the engineering behind that. what I truly would love and I hope this gets to tesla, is a place where they can be stored when not in use. Frunk , wing pillars, anyplace, but a molded out area just for those particular pieces to safely slide into molded compartment with a rubber band style system with SS bolt heads piped out with grooves for band to lock into. These would be snug as a bug in a rug and no matter how many times you use, a band is easily replaced. Simple system and would be sick. Be cool to have a few hidden Easter eggs throughout the Ct as well like an image of a Ct on Mars and an image of Ct having a tug a war with Ford .
( image hidden by tow hitch) Hey why not one with the Falcon heavy hidden somewhere? Or the image of the double heavy’s landing! i’ve never owned a jeep, but Jeep have done a really good job with how they place their Easter eggs. I think Tesla has an amazing opportunity to do this as well.
