Anyone have this issue? I’ve been out of town for almost a week. CT was left on the charger at 80% I’ve been looking at the app every couple of days and everything has been fine. Today I see that the charge is no longer at or near 80% and it says that charging has stopped. All I can do is click “start charging” which results in the message “start charging failed”. My neighbor was nice enough to come over and move it to a different charger.
same issue.

Sounds like you need a service call. Do you have another EV you can try to rule out the wall charger?

Yeah, I was afraid of that. I do, we also have 4 different wall connectors. So it should be easy to do, just not while I’m out of town haha. Luckily I’ll be home tonight.

First thing to try would be unplug it and let it sit for 10-15 min, then try plugging it back in. If still no good after that, try a soft reset/restart of the vehicle. If all else fails, service call.

Try changing your charging limit to 90%...

Every once in a while in my other teslas I’ve gotten a start charging failed notification when trying to start it remotely from the app. Usually it works itself out after I can get into the car and tap the screen. Fortunately it’s pretty infrequent (like once per year per two teslas) or else it would be seriously annoying…

I feel like I’ve had it happen before too. But it was maybe just not plugged in all the way or when I unplug and replug in it seems to work. So it’s odd to me that neither of these quick fixes made a difference.

power to chargers out? 4 wall chargers would need a large power supply. Like a nuclear power plant. :ROFLMAO:

I wish I had your problems. enjoy and hope all works out with just a simple fix but please keep us posted on what if anything is wrong with CT.

If it is at straight 80% it may be your charge setting is capped at 80% SOC
If you can't unplug it if you are away you can try changing (temporarily) the max SOC in the app to 100%
