What I'm getting at here, is these devices are superspy machines. They absolutely phone home in near real-time with every scrap of info they can get their hands on.

It's no coincidence that you can have an in-person conversation with someone (with your phone in your pocket) just to receive a related ad a couple days later.

Maybe I'm more careful than most but that doesn't happen unless I type something into a Google search. I also limit what access any app on my phone is allowed to have.
