Not even in production, and already in the shop

sheez
Don't dismay. They went through our wish list and are putting upgrades in there for you. I am still waiting to see them implement my vault mounted sentry controlled Tesla coil. But unfortunately its clear now that it wont fold up into the vault. But thats ok because someone said its all thermal stuff in the frunk so I take that as the forward facing hydrogen flame thrower, which should easily ignite and excite all those coal rollers we are bound to encounter on the road. This is the way.

what if there was... bare with me ... a button??
On the outside of the truck? Like if you are walking up to the truck with groceries. You want a button? I would much rather have a concealed release latch.

I would bet some money that they are planning on making some marketing video with these units. The frunk storage prob makes up for the loss of the side sail storage. But loving all the new photos. Lots more sightings to come it seems as we get more units made.

potato-potato

just saying, yes, you can open the lightning frunk from your phone

but also a button/latch at the hood, a button in the cab, key fob

was contrasting with the notion that the only way to open the CT frunk would be a phone

It’s stuff like this that redeems Tesla a little. Elon sometimes can drag the brand down with his side projects and political statements but then they come along and wrap their new truck like their competitors. It reminds us not to take life too seriously and maybe fake it till you make it. Well, get whatever you want out of it, but it’s definitely hilarious and I bet it is to scale.

Saw all the debate about CT not having Lightning sized frunk.

Would you rather have air suspension, heat pump and HEPA filters or a big frunk? Cuz all those features take up space in what would otherwise be the frunk of a CT.

I have no skin in the game and will not likely to even test drive one, but I am curious about CT potential buyers' priorities.

Who knew how much love the frunk would have? Tesla should have moved the cab to back of the vehicle, so folks could have an 8 ft frunk.

there’s a shared F150 fetish among segments of both the CT critics and CT fan base

the vibes sometimes make you wonder if they’re not secretly in forbidden love

Look at those boots!

-Crissa
Listen to those boots!!!

I was so busy listening I didn't see the CT.

Edit:
And notice the mittens. When I was last in London during the summer, it was a bit warm for mitten use. But I suppose to each their own.

I wouldn't say my disappointment has anything to do with the F150, but with Teslas own promotion of what would be a frunk, and instead we got a "flovebox".

to be fair to Tesla, it never said much of anything about a drunk or it’s size

it’s instead been 4 years of fanbois high on hopium propagating that the CT would have eg twice the Frunk size as a Lightning, based on no info as well as a misunderstanding of vehicle construction

had they instead for 4 years been evangelizing how the CT doesn’t need and probably won’t have as much Frunk as the Lightning, there’d be a lot less undeserved disappointment

a lot of that going around

I mean I agree the size, shape or function of the frunk was never mentioned by Tesla or Elon, that was all speculation and hype. (And all of this still is because we haven't actually seen inside of it for real) but they did say it would have a frunk.

From the latest pics... That's not a frunk, it looks like it's got the same amount of room most ice cars have in the engine bay. I'm not sure you can fit golf balls in there much less golf clubs.

Either way I'm calling it the flove box until proven otherwise.
