I think it would be funny it Tesla was just trolling us with those frunk pics. What if they made a panel with a bunch of technical looking things and put it in the normally cavernous frunk just to mess with us. Do it on two of the trucks when the emphasis was "supposed" to be on one of them (F150 wrap). That would be next level trolling.
WOW... Some subterfuge... interesting.

OK I'll take a stab at proving otherwise. To me it looks like all the equipment under there, is actually under the dash, and stops close to the transition between the window and the hood. Now, look at the size of that hood. Does that look anything close to a glovebox door? For scale, look at the front wheel. ;)

I'm going to use the frunk to hold Hermione's purse
I’m thinking it looks like a “two body” trunk if you live in Chicago or New York and your name ends in a pronounceable vowel. If you live elsewhere, a couple golf bags looks like it at a minimum.

Don't be ridiculous, it's already got a dead-body drawer

Be serious! This is the DIRECT replacement for a 1974 Cadillac Sedan DeVille! That’s at least a 3 body, maybe a 4 body trunk there. And imagine what you can do with the vault cover!

Saw all the debate about CT not having Lightning sized frunk.

Would you rather have air suspension, heat pump and HEPA filters or a big frunk?
I like big FRUNKS and I cannot lie....
I want it all.

Looks like it already comes with a dead body. Do we have to dispose of the provided one before we can fit in the dead body of our choice?

for comparison:

How big is the Tesla Model X frunk?

Model Y Cargo Space. For the Model X, Tesla's best number is the 92.3 cubic feet of total cargo space with the six-seat configuration, including the 6.6 cu-ft "frunk" under the hood (the numbers shrink to 91.6 cubes for the five-seater and 88.2 for the seven-seat model).

If the Model Y roll out and production ramp up is any indication of what's to come, the Cybertruck is going blow everyones doors off.
One million a year production numbers aren't far away IMHO.
Hang on for a wild ride!

Looks to me like the frunk in both is full of machinery. Not going to be useful for carrying stuff.

there’ll be a ‘tub’ of trim installed that segregates the useable space from the machinery, as there is in a Lightning, Model X, etc.

And while the CT’s Frunk won’t be as big as the Lightning’s, the CT’s Frunk will be 2-3 times larger than a Model X’s - which makes for a good deal of pretty useful space for carrying stuff

the Ct’s vault also helps even the cargo playing field with the Lightning. Eg my Frunk is useful for putting suitcases because it can be secured and not be in the cab. The CT provides that optionality in the bed, too, unlike my Lightning

id bet $1000 that we see a video of this in a tug of war vs an F150 by the end of august. And to keep it interesting im gonna say it’ll be a Lightning

Any takers?
If the lightning weights more it might lose.
