A couple things from the TED talk Musk just did and from breaking news.

#1 Musk would prefer to bring along as many shareholders as he can so he doesn’t have to fund it all himself. This would likely be limited to a few existing institutional owners each getting shares of the new Twitter company.

#2 The Twitter board is considering a “poison pill” which would effectively prevent Musk from buying the company out, but would effectively crush the Twitter share price.

Musk has. Plan B if this fails which he is not willing to discuss at the moment.

Personally I doubt they will sell all their shares, twitter will eventually recover from the crash.

Very unlikely this hostile takeover will succeed. In the unlikely event it does TLSA will drop 20-30%. TLSA is only down 3.6% on the day because the market doesn't think Musk will succeed with taking Twitter private.

The current value of Twitter is currently 5% of Tesla's value. I don't think buying twitter will affect TSLA by 20 or 30%.

WE have had enough FUD over the last few years.. This would be another.

Amazon, Apple and Tesla were all down last night... here is the cause of Tesla's drop :

I noticed a distinct correlation every day. TSLA with a higher PE ratio, does drop more than other 'blue' chip, but when NASDAQ is up, TSLA recovers by the same margins it lost.
