11282*** just got email. Having a hard time dropping 80k when I got a 40k Lightning Pro (duel motor 450 Hp). Cybertruck duel is insane looking, but is that worth double???

I never got one. I honestly don’t think the wait will be that long. I think the price went to far and a lot of people will drop out. I’m getting it but going through sticker shock right now.

I just don’t understand why yall didn’t see the price jumping. There’s been 20% increase in inflation since the pandemic. It just wouldn’t have been possible not to raise prices.

I think it may just be people that forked out another $250 today in a desperate effort to secure our hopes of a CT. I know you mentioned that you placed another order and so did i and we both got the email. I was so quick to place another order today i bet i was within the first 100 that did, but based on the reservation number probably number 2,000,001 in the grand scheme of things. Fortunately i still am holding a reservation around 12k for the dual motor, if that even means anything anyway.

Meanwhile EV prices have actually come down. Including Tesla's. So that excuse doesn't really cut it.

Received the email too. Only issue is HighLand Model 3 won’t be here for a while, and we have been suffering with a crappy Model Y in the fleet for a while.

Also, Honda would easily give me $1000 off instant without asking.

A bed for the spare in a pickup is not an outlandish idea. It’s been done quite a bit with off-roading vehicles and trucks.
