This image from Cybertruck reveal night hasn't gotten much focus - the one circled in the first image below. Don't know why it's the only one that Tesla didn't release a large version of, but zooming in on the image (from a reveal night video) shows what looks like a ladder rack and tools charging in the bed. Cool design for that ladder rack!

Well, heck. I believe you're right. I never saw that. It's a little hard to fathom, but it looks as if, in the render, that the left side door of the wing thing is in the up position. It took me a while to figure it out. But great!!! If this is a factory option, it's going to appeal to many more buyers.

Nice spot. How've we all missed this before :ROFLMAO:

This should definitely appeal to contractors. That first image shows the appeal that the Cybertruck should have to a wide demographic -- overlanders, outdoor sports enthusiasts, haulers, and contractors.

Yeah, that's really cool. I also never noticed this render before. I wonder how much room there is in the wing compartment. That side rail gets pretty thick the closer it gets to the cabin.

I used to work in insurance mitigation. I had to bring a crew out to board up houses at 2AM while the fire department was checking for hot spots on burned houses. No power, no lighting. This thing would have been a dream for that sort of work.

Awesome catch!
But still no answer to apparently the most important question about the cybertruck.... Can you fit a plow to it? :ROFLMAO:

//With all due respect, I'm not sure the "most important" question relates to whether the CYBRTRK will have a snowplow attachment. (But wait...now I see your laughing emoji.) Agreed...a snowplow may not be the MOST desired attachment. How about those that want a winch attachment; or wants to mount a big mother hunk of tubing on the front (what the heck do you call those things?); and what about the many ranchers that want a 5th wheel for their horse trailer; ad infintum...
Here's what I'd like: On each side of the truck, a recessed footstep and above that, towards the top, a knurled grab bar (Like a safety grab in a bathtub). Then a guy could step up, grab the bar and swing himself/herself up and over the wing thing without out having to lower the tailgate.

I have a feeling that by late next year there will be a slew of optional gear that will really show off the flexibility of the Cybertruck platform for work and play.

Not to mention the huge aftermarket that'll exist for the Cybertruck once it comes out and manufacturers get their hands on it.

Looking at this picture I notice that the upper triangle of the ladder rack isn't just a flipped up sail, it's backwards. Where the sail panels usually rest it looks open. I reason that the sails must be detachable, and able to mount backwards to create a kind of level square from the 2 triangles. What do you guys think? And what do you suppose the ladder deck is made of, another peice of the truck maybe?

I believe thats a recessed foot step on the short side of the tailgate.
And deeper inside the recess, (I read somewhere) is where the tow ball resides when not in use.

I thought the same thing at first, but if you look carefully, the sail storage covers /flaps are still attached in the up position in the photo.

What I'm wondering is true, and blown away by it if it is, the Roof racks ( the "level square" you mention) look like they stow away on the perimeter of the storage compartment inside the bed near the tail gate. Brilliant if true.

Anybody else see that, or am I seeing things ?

I think you might be right geo, I wish there was a clearer picture, and I hope this is a stock option that stows away in the sails. What a great catch! It's amazing how the window demonstration derailed so many other cool things from being mentioned at the unveiling, that we are still finding them like Easter eggs ?
