If the new MSRP is significantly lower than the competition would anyone care?
Tesla has a lot of profit potential in software and accessories. 240V enables more possibilities. At the very least, allow a dongle off the charging port.

Maybe the 240V outlet would only come with the larger battery packs (the 500+ mile ones).

Have there been any extensive Youtube videos of F150L owner experiences with combined use of both driving and useage of their Pro-Power outlets for different things? I'd be interested in watching a video like that.

Last week one of the guys over on the Transport Evolved Discord ran a food cart - coffee, etc - from his Lightning. Lost about 6% range serving hot coffee and such for seven hours.

Not sure what that tells you, tho.

I know what it tells me!

It tells me that after 7 hours of heat, that coffee is pretty dang stale! Only a pilot would drink that coffee! (And Air Traffic Controllers won’t touch it until it has 8+ hours on the burner!)

Everyone wanted the CT to fit in the garage. So unless you are intending to run your washer/dryer off the CT, what good does 240V do? Can't even get any power tools into the garage because it is filled up by the CT.
What good is 110 to an Australian?
Not much.

also said other manufacturers show a prototype, and by the time it reaches production, it's lame, and that CT won't be like that.
to be fair, he did not say that about features/functionality - he said it about looks/appearance

regardless, I’m *pretty confident* this info is incorrect aRe no 240v

I'm cool with a dongle. But it should have some way to attach it when being used instead of just hanging there. I would say maybe it could attack to the top rail but if you have a rack that doesn't work. Unless your rack has standoffs maybe?

This Silverado one is good because he is talking to a Engineer on the team so any numbers are more factual. Tom also is known for power details.

Crazy how in-demand 240v claims to be according to users, yet it didn't exist...a year ago??
