For those with the S92 Camera Mirror

Hey, does anyone have any photos of the harness for the s92 that they sent? they sent me 3 new ones and I turn the mirror on and it turns off right away

I do not have a photo but I helped install Hemiarch’s. The new harness does not have 2 sub-harnesses. It has a small 2-conductor power line and a larger single harness.

The old harness has two sub-harnesses.

Update on @Tesstudio . After reaching out without any tracking they reached back out today. Pleasantly enough my harness came in today. Wish they had let me know but credit where credit is due, they actually mailed me the harness. Took about 3 weeks from request.

So what does it do? get's power from the mirror area and plugs into the computer to know when the car is off? I took the chip thing apart to try to see if I could see anything that was messed up and could not find anything

The photos of the harness that includes the mirror power tap and the footwell computer harness tie-in are identical to what we installed in Hemiarch’s truck to alleviate the audio alerts that were occurring with the Harness 1.0.

I’ve not seen the cable with the exposed circuit board that you posted.

Sorry. Was asleep. Work nights and it was a particularly busy trauma surgery night.

Red wire is for power. If yours is turning on then off after 5 seconds than it’s plugged into the right spot.
The other two plugs are a jump in the middle of the connector by the passenger footwell.
This is where the “car on/car off” signal comes from.
When that’s correctly plugged in, the mirror will not turn off after it gets the initial power signal and after you press the brake pedal to start the car.

SO wait the harness might work if I just pressed the brake pedal ? LOL goodness

No. If it is plugged in correctly it will only work when the car is on. In mine, I press the brake pedal, put it in gear and then see the Cybertruck logo on the screen. Several seconds later I have a mirror.

Along same line, does anyone else's mirror sometimes not turn on. 9 out of 10 times it turns on normally. However on occasion, the mirror does not turn on when I get in and won't respond when I try pressing the power button. Appreciate any advice

yes. When that happens to mine periodically I do the two finger salute reset and it fixes it.
