Kyle Conner who is very familiar with Cold Weather Driving Range dip and charging expressed his concern..

I find that legit feedback regardless of the numbers.
And he also indicated that the range was better than expected.

But range isn't king.

I don't have max follow distance, I'm FSD.
FYI, some use a separate profile (everything else the same) that doesn't have FSD enabled which allows for AP/EAP. This can add some flexibility. For highway driving, AP can work well enough.

Sure, but having to stop to turn FSD back on is a PITA. I just leave it at 10% over and sit back and enjoy the ride.

Aside: FSD / AP

I'm a little confused. I was thinking you could have one driver profile (main) setup with FSD enabled (ie. named "Ed FSD") and a one driver profile (2ndary) setup with FSD disabled & AP enabled (ie. named "Ed AP") and then switch them on the fly just by clicking one or the other.

Didn't know that. But normally you have to stop.

Total and absolute BS.

And there's already a number of CCS 800V chargers out there, Porsche has been pushing it for over 6 years.

That is worldwide, and a large percentage of those are 150w chargers, which will take about 3 hours to charge a CT.
So if you take your CT to China you can wait a couple hours to charge it, great....

Why are you still here? You don't like the Cybertruck.

I don't have one to like or dislike, doubt you do yet either.
But have been reserved and waiting for one for 4 years and till hopeful that Tesla can deliver this cool truck with some decent range and charging speed.

It is what it is, you've heard what it is and you aren't satisfied with it. You say that everyone is wrong.

If you are going to go ahead and get it, do everyone a favor and stop complaining about it.

It is not a complaining, but rather a fair criticism. Well deserved btw.
There is always some hope that Tesla will react on a public opinion.

To make the battery bigger would take a fair amount of time for redesign and an increase of about $20k in price. They anticipated public reaction to the issue and created the Range Extender.

One complaint wouldn't be a big deal, but he's well over 200 of them.

That is exactly the public opinion.
And Tesla should know about it.
BTW increasing the length of a battery element 4680 by 40 mm Tesla could have the battery capacity increased by 50% without any extender. Yes, it is difficult, but the solution exists.

Guys...i know i am a bit late to the party but any chance of purchasing someone's Foundation registration? I had one offer but the seller couldn't change the email address (Tesla locked the ability) and this poses security risk the moment i pay the premium...

Tesla know, Tesla acknowledged.

If Public opinion is against them, they I guess they won't sell many.

We'll see.
