Cyber Rodeo was inside. That was before CT production equipment was there and there was a lot of empty space. I'll bet there is still a lot of empty space.

It's hard to comprehend how truly HUGE this facility is until you see it with your own eyes. A bit like the Grand Canyon in that regard. No matter how many photos & videos you see before, you will be amazed how big it really is.
tell people all the time: driving at 55mph on the highway, it takes a full minute to drive it’s length

a full minute of driving, at 55mph, to go from one end to the other

I *feel* like that should scope the size, but maybe you still have to experience it to really have it set in

Yeah - I had driven by it a few times. But somehow it seems even bigger on the inside. A little like the Tardis. :D

No one drives 55 on SH 130, it's 85 mph speed limit which means most are traveling 85-90+. :)
?Traffic aside, the point is that you *can* drive 55 consistently (unlike I35) if you choose to do so for GFTX experience purposes

few give a s*it, admittedly

Yeah those first videos of people driving by GFTX going 80 and the building is still going by after 30/40 seconds gave a good sense of just how large the building is. It was eye-opening when I saw it in person.

Sounds like it. Some other things my search said/found:
"It's an emergency release in case someone gets stuck in there. It's a federal requirement to have a release in a space of a certain size."

My phone is just a flat slab. No Open/Close fold.
