If like Rivian will take about a year but now very minimal like your Y and 3.

If it’s not connected to the internet / WiFi, what could be running while it’s parked?

Vampire drain will not be fixed. It is never fixed. Just reduced. It is a intricate dance between ready to go and asleep. It will fix itself via updates. Try not to stress on it. Or stress service. They are literally responding with known issue.....team is working on it. One waving the flag isn't speeding it up.

Older Tesla owners know this. Over time the car gets good to the point of very little drain. I left my car for two weeks at head of a trail in WY. Came back and lost 2 percent.

Enjoy the truck. Tesla is working hard to make it all the truck it needs to be.

Owning my CT for over a week now I'm concerned with the battery drain.. overnight in a matter of 12 hours it will loose ~3% battery!! From looking at the energy overview it's mainly due to "standby" .. I really hope Tesla will fix this, if I'm going out of town for a two week vacation i basically end up with an empty battery!!

Note: I turned every "share data" feature off as well as Sentry mode.

Personally I've seen this improving over the 6 weeks that I've had the truck.

Initially I was seeing overnight drops as high as 8% (!!!!), so I've been keeping an eye on it by checking state of charge history on Tessie in the morning. After a few weeks of ownership, I was seeing fairly consistent drops of 2% per night. Over the last week or so, it's been only 1% per night. Still higher than it should be, but acceptable in my opinion. For reference, I left my M3P idle for almost a month after I got my CT, and it only lost ~2% in that time!

No idea what is behind the improvement, or whether there's been an actual change or other factors are at play. But just wanted to let folks know about my anecdotal experience.

I would speculate that Tesla is gathering significant diagnostic data from the early models, which is uploaded when parked and on wifi.

They'll also need a bunch of FSD training data, too.

Remember opting out of sharing data is one more Cybertruck not sending data back to Tesla for FSD. Just a thought.

Has anyone opted out of data sharing and seen their drain reduced?

I may try that. I'm losing like 10-15 miles per day with the thing just sitting in my garage. That is an insane amount of energy being wasted for God only knows what. I cant understand how a computer could chew up that much energy unless maybe they are having these cars secretly mine bitcoin??

Not an owner yet but this is concerning for me as I don’t have a way to charge at home. I’ll be using only superchargers for the first year.
YIKES. you better hope they fix before then because it will cost a fortune in electricity at this rate.
