254 but today I had 255. First time I have seen that. I did precondition for the first time today. I have 8,000 miles and have charged to 100% a few times and yesterday I noticed my 100% was now showing 317.

After 6 years of owning a Tesla, I rarely look or care about the number. Biggest reason is that it's not a realistic range.
But at 254, that's 317.5 at 100%, right on target.

And dependent on a number of factors, it will change while still plugged in, as the BMS and temperatures change.

Expect your battery to degrade by 10-15% in the first year and then level off for many years afterwards.

I have never had an EV battery degrade 10-15% the first year. More like 5% and that is driving about 20,000 miles plus the first year. It will level off, but don't expect this type of degradation the first year.

Yea, 5-10% is a little more common. But since I hate hearing that "my car is only at 253 miles at 80% vs 254" posts, I try to temper expectations.

Whatever that number is, it means very little. It fluctuates with the time of day as well as software releases, but yet, it's the same battery.
