except it’s also shaped like a stop sign. People aren’t.If it's exoskeleton based, there shouldn't be any need for a 6" thick driver and passenger side doors. So the necessary width is there.
and so as a result, a lot of that exoskeleton, especially at the sides, is placed far away from the human footprint within the vehicle. And the inward-leaning topside is the pinch-point limits.
As a result of the stop sign shape, you get potentially large ‘dead’ spaces on the vehicle side that cause the widest point of the vehicle to possibly be substantially wider than the useable space in the vehicle
The only thing I can say for certain is that, exoskeleton or not, the doors/body of this thing are not thin.
