@sozucom was right. When removing the bed floor, we had enough room to weasel out the iPad as the opening to the well was large enough. We did not have to remove that fabric.

It was actually lying flat on floor of the well. My wife has narrow hands so it may require that type of anatomy to pull it out.

iPad is the light gray object above the fabric.

Legendary. Thanks for taking the "W" for the forum. Now we know how to get access for objects that fall down that slot.

One item of warning. The bolts for bed floor are not equal length. The four bolts towards the front/ cab/“tonneau well” are shorter than the rest. Super important to know. I put a long bolt in front and it actually stopped/interfered with the tonneau cover from fully opening.

The long bolts are about 5.5cm and the shorter ones about 4.5cm.

the bolts have a 15mm head and the thread is 10x1.5 (metric all around).

10 total bolts, 6 long and 4 shorter.
