This is probably no less than the 10th thread created on the subject of retro-demanding free handouts.
Agreed! I was just about to say the same thing. Every now and then, someone brings up the idea of Tesla giving free supercharging for being an early adopter or brand loyalty. Unfortunately this never has and will never happen.

Every time when I see idiotic claims/demands like this one, I wonder - what really goes inside peoples heads who think this way? If they feel entitled for this free supercharging that was offered after each one of us voluntarily entered into and completed a transaction, then they must feel similar about other deals/transactions in their lives - that's a shitty way to live, always feeling cheated out of stuff/deals.

But I'm really glad to see more and more voiced opposition to this irrational baseless entitlement

My guess is that they feel slighted somehow because they mistook the "Foundation Series" for something that was supposed to be a collectors item lol.

From the very beginning it was obvious that Tesla was going to be production constrained, so if you had the $$$ then you could set yourself far ahead in line.

There’s a certain subset of owners who are just crazy dedicated to this supercharging thing. Quite amusing, really.

Fact that it was offered after we purchased personally I feelu like the Foundation series elite group should have been rewarded with the free charging. We were the first to buy to support the company. It does affect my decision to purchase my next Tesla as I will wait one year post model to get the best deals.

It was always ridiculous that the first ones didn’t come with free lifetime supercharging.

I’m in that crazy little group. Can’t help it. I have had it so long (since 2016) it’s become part of the “culture” of how my wife and I use these cars. Not sure which is the chicken and which is the egg but that culture has saved us a lot of cumulative money over the years.

I'm sorry but this sounds stupid. Nobody made anyone buy it. People agreed to buy it at that price at that time with those features.

Some people bought it early because that's what they wanted to do. A small percentage of people act like they did Musk a favor and now they're owed something . Let's not act like there were no benefits to buying early, like the kick ass cool factor for one.
Others decided to wait until the $20k price drop (Non FS) came and decided to buy it then. Anyone who follows Tesla knew this was going to happen.
Some even went as far as waiting until it qualified for the EV rebate (guilty). That's a savings of $27.5k (Damn near $30k after tax). IMO that's worth waiting for, some people would disagree. We all have different reasons for buying or not buying and when to buy. But at no point did we not have a choice.

I’d be open to allowing FS to purchase a lifetime supercharging package for $5,000.

I agree, free lifetime supercharging and Tesla can keep the light bar.
My Foundation Beast was about $115K. I would have waited if I knew I could get free lifetime supercharging with my order. I took it as soon as it was available to support Elon and now it's time for Elon to step up and treat us as good as the Johnny come latelys. I support Elon with everything. I have a model X and premium "X" with Grok.
You took delivery of a Cyberbeast as soon as it was available ‘to support Elon’? I don’t buy that for a second. You bought the Cyberveast as soon as it was available because you ‘had to have it’. Be honest.
