Exactly, I’m glad I paid the extra this truck is what the people wanted a 60k Cybertruck. Maybe now that Tesla made it an option and people see what it takes to lower the cost the rest of the people waiting might just cause an influx of awe orders as they are like oh hell nah.
With these specs the original $40k is closer to acceptable. It now seems, with the cancellation of the F-150 Lightning PRO in RWD option, only Tesla offers a RWD.

Doesn't really seem worth it to me, for the amount of stuff you give up.

My opinion is that, for the current battery size, I'd be ecstatic for $59,995-64,995 for a Dual Motor AWD. And the RWD being $49,995.

For the current pricing ($80k before tax credit for Dual Motor AWD), they really should shove another 35-50kWh in the pack for me to say I'm satisfied with the pricing.

What a waist! Probably built worse than the prototype 2019 version?!

The 350 miles of range is a pleasant surprise. Tesla advertised 250 miles of range back in 2019. They apparently kept the same 123 kWh battery pack.

At least you still get the 1.8 and 1.4mm thick dent resistant SS exterior, SBW, RWS, heated windshield/steering wheel/front seats, 18.5” front display and 4 wheel disc brakes.

I would love more details on these:
  1. Headlamps without signature lamps
  2. Standard bed lamps
  3. Standard tail lamps

Thanks. I guess it will help differentiate a RWD from an AWD and CyberBeast. Most likely a move by the marketing department.

It is wild that the cheapest version has the most range.
In 2019 I was prepared to pony up for the 500miles of range, flash forward and the CHEAPEST version can go the furthest, pretty wild.

One other BIG plus is I think the true utility style vault/bed is going to be an UPGRADE vs the higher trim options. The vault right now is to leaky to put things that need to be dry, and to fancy to put dirt, straw, and gravel. Interested to see the new bed.

One thought, Tesla really can’t sell enough To get cost down to other trims. Look at what they did with model s plaid over the years.

Telsa has never done a cloth seat, even in budget model 3. Really penny pinching cost items here

Seems like a fair amount of emphasis on this being the long range version. Maybe a standard range with the 250 range first dangled oh so many years ago will be the value edition. Drop off another 5k. Rear seats replaced with very stylish carbon cybercrates. Robotic chickens optional.
